Unfortunately, the next day I had a long bout of diarrhea. The coleslaw was off, it was too thick and tasted bad. I couldn't... finish it. The potato salad and the macaroni salad was not fresh. The waitress was attentive for the first 15-20 minutes butthen she disappeared, no where to be found. I came here last Sunday. I had the opposite experience. The food was terrific! Shoneys is a dying franchise in my opinion The facility was in much need of upgrading. It seemed they were stuck in the 70's. ... Our hostess was friendly but the place was dingy and the food bar seemed under served and lack of attention with food scatteredeverywhere. We hadn't been to a Shoneys for a number of years and it was convenient to our location so we decide to give it atry. We won't be going to Shoneys again if we can avoid it. There were a few people working hard but our server just left menus and never came back. We had to ask someone else to get us... drinks and then went to the buffet without even ordering. A lot of the food looked like it had been sitting out for days. Thefood that looked fresh was good. Read more
One of the best shoneys around. Fresh delicious food. Waitresses actually check on you. Food is really cooked Southern style..... no green beans just dumped out and warmed.. they cook them up with fat back! Yummy! And they have the best pot roast ever! ??Clean restrooms too.. Read more
I was dining alone but received the right amount of attention, generous with refills, curtious and pleasant servers. The food... options were good. I ordered from the menu, having enjoyed their salad bar on a previous trip. The food was cooked well andtasted great. The atmosphere was refreshing with music from the 50's and 60's playing. Astonishing service. Wasn't too busy when I was here with my friend and her son. Food was hot and fresh, The buffet for... breakfast they kept packed with delicious foods. Staff I'd say was wonderful. Our waitress kept on point with drink refills andmaking sure we were taken care of. Food is terrible, place is disgusting. The wood is rotted and Moldy in the booths you are sitting on. Floors looked like they... haven?t been cleaned in decades. Idk how this is place is still open. The food choices on the menu is smaller than they offer atan elementary school lunch. I?ve been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and am currently a restaurant manager in Florida.I would never say this about another restaurant if I severely didn?t feel this way.
