Biked here on a game day so I'm assuming that's why the spot was so peaceful. The menu is marked to denote vegetarian and gluten... free options. The waitress/bartender was very helpful in helping me to find/alter a dish that would fit my needs (vegan and freeof gluten). They don't have very many options, but I was able to order the Tomato Zen dish, which mentions a 'robust tomatosauce' honestly I think the sauce was quite overpowering and all I tasted was tomato sauce. I won't order that dish again, butI may visit again for those mimosas. Read more

Food was good. I wasn't blown away but the black bean hummus, salsa and beer cheese are very good. Probably wouldn't go out of... my way to go here again but if some friends wanted to I would. Read more

This place is awesome... It has cool decor. The service was really good - Holly is a rockstar bartender/waitress.They have a... pretty extensive menu. I had the Notorious PIG with their potato casserole instead of grits with broccoli - this was an awesomechoice - delicious...this is worth the trip to the south side. Read more

Outstanding gem, nestled in South Knoxville. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and great service. Lots of vegan and gluten... friendly options. As per their menu, not guaranteed "gluten free," but as someone with celiac disease, I'd feel safer here thana lot of places. Highly recommend! Read more

This place is so good, I will definitely be back soon. We had the pork tacos and a Notorious P.I.G both were perfect. I honestly... think it's one of the best meals I've had in awhile from a new restaurant. Read more

I had a good experience at Red Bud. Not a great experience but a good one. I had a little trouble with my order. I has ordered a... dish with gluten-free bread and they brought me wheat bread by accident. I did try it and I was disappointed at eat some wheatbut they were nice enough to correct the problem. However it took a long time to get my food. My person I was with had alreadyfinished eating by the time I got my meal. The food was pretty good although I had a stomach ache from the pork later on thatevening. The dish tasted delicious though it was pork on top of grits with this really good maple syrup/bacon sauce. I thinkthat my experience might have been an anomaly and next time I'll probably have a better experience. The person who helped us wasreally nice about things but I could tell she knew that the weight was way too long. It was almost as if they made me wait inline behind all of the other meals just to make mine fresh. They should probably figure out how to treat a person when they'vedone their order wrong like that. When I worked in kitchens we would drop everything and make sure that that person got theirmeal first. I'm sure that this place has some growing pains and eventually it'll settle down and be the business that it needsto be. They seem eager to succeed and there's lots of reasons for them to be successful. One of the other biggest things I wouldrecommend this business to do is to put a sign on their parking lot that tells people where to park. It's very confusing tofigure out where to park at this place. But inside is comfortable and quaint and the people are nice so that's a plus. The besttwo things there? I liked the sweet tea and the grits with the sauce on it were amazing. Read more

I?m really excited about SoKno getting another local casual dining restaurant! I went there for dinner and it did not... disappoint! I don?t care much for black beans or tomatoes but the black bean hummus and the salsa served with the triple dippedappetizer were amazing! Very fresh ingredients! The seasoning on the hummus was on point. The house made chips served with theirdips are unique and flavorful. The meatloaf was so good! The 2 sauces they top it with blend together well (Siracha aioli andketchup glaze). The cheesy potato casserole was delicious and it had a crisp cheese crust and a nice touch of cooked onion.Think Cracker Barrel hash brown casserole but elevated. The service was great, the music was great (a nice playlist ofalternative music), the food was great, the prices are very affordable, and the location is perfect! Seriously- go try thisplace if you haven?t! I see many trips here in my future and can?t wait to try the test of their dishes, it doesn?t look likeyou can go wrong with anything on the menu. Oh and finish your meal with the banana pudding- it?s literally to die for.Everyone claims they have good banana pudding but this one Is the best! I would love to see a weekend brunch option here in thefuture! Read more
