I placed an order with Domino's first, as it's less than five minutes from where I live. I expected it to be here rather... quickly. Well, after 2 hours my food still hadn't arrived. I order from here about once a week and the quality is very hit or miss. Usually the pizza is good but there have been several... occasions that it's been overcooked, cold, or the wrong cheese has been used. I understand that it's hard to retain employeescurrently so I try to cut them slack and tip the driver's a decent amount. Read more
Hands down the worst pizza's I have ever hand from Papa John's. My whole household had a few pizzas last night and it tasted... like frozen pizza. I don't know if it was all old ingredients or if this was how it really taste now, but everyone in myhousehold said to never order papa john's again. I wish I had remembered to get a picture of our order(two large one "the works with stuffed crust the other "the meats" regular... crust). I was SO DISAPPOINTED and probably won't get pizza here again. We ordered by phone and it was just coming out of theoven as we walked in the door. So I can say service was great. The pizzas were not. I worked for Papa John's for 7 years as adelivery driver and the pizza that I delivered were so much better than what is made now. Crusts used to be hand tossed andtoppings generously covered the dough to almost the edge(maybe leaving not much more than an inch). Now it is more like 2" ofbread exposed all the way around and the dough obviously run through a machine. On the "works" I requested the sausage to be ononly half , it covered the entire surface. The flavors were the same but the amount of the toppings was much less than youwould have gotten before.. Both appeared to be undercooked as the crust (and there was a lot of crust) looked barely toasted.The regular crust seemed much thicker than I remember Again probably because of it being machine made. This location is so incompetent they couldn?t even fulfill a medium pepperoni pizza order. Not ?got it wrong?, literally sent... the cheese sticks but couldn?t be bothered to make a medium pepperoni pizza. This location is a joke, use the location onTazewell or Kingston for better results. Read more
