I ordered curbside--email said order would be complete at 12:11 20 minutes later I actually had to walk in to get the food that... was sitting on a shelf behind the cashier. Manager told me "they were busy" when I called (as is instructed on the sign). I'lljust go elsewhere plenty of other sandwich places in Knoxville! Don't waste your time! Read more

Went there yesterday at 4:45 to eat dinner. The sign said order and take out only. Went in to order food and three employees... looked at me but never engaged. I stood there for a good 10 minutes and they all gradually got up and went to the back. Totally ignored us. I give these Newk?s 3 months and it will have a sign saying CLOSED! Clearly, the owner has a terrible staffand doesn?t want to make money! I will not return to this Newk?s again! Read more

Had a good lunch with the 1/2 sandwich and soup special. The potato soup was delicious and the Newk's Cheese Steak sandwich was... pretty good too, though it seemed like it was made as a healthy style cheese steak. Service was good and fairly quick. Therepimento cheese is terrific, I'll probably stick with that on future visits! Read more

I quit coming because the last few times the food took 30 min or more. I swore I wouldn?t come back after waiting 30 min for a... pimento and cheese and bowl of soup. On a date night and got there to see that the dining room still isn?t open. 2 stars bc thefood is usually pretty good Read more

You guys are so incredibly unprofessional. The only reason your restaurants and dining rooms are closed or on these nonsense... ?temporary hours? is upper management and leadership. Are you on the verge of bankruptcy? What is going on. Absolutely horriblebusiness ethics. Read more

First. I travel 35 minutes to eat here. Second, I have only eaten here twice in the last year. Third, every order is always... wrong. The last time we didn't get our chicken on the salad, and since no manager was available, nothing was ever done. Thistime we got the protein but both salads missing cucumber as well as the ultimate didnt have cheese or dressing. So I will not goback for another year and will advise anyone else the same. Doesn't make since in a time of slow business that the main thingyou are known for you cannot do. Oh, and the salads togo were way smaller than dine in. Might want to work on quality controland verifying orders. Read more

Visited for the first time today! Menu had a great selection and pricing was reasonable. They seemed very short staffed ???????... took a while to greet us. The food came out fast, they were very accommodating with some order changes on the fly. No refillsduring Covid but the cup the give you is plenty. We will return when in the area. Thank you! Clean, family friendly, prompt friendly service, and nice outside eating area. They have a counter to order at and they give... you a number to put on your table, you pick were to sit and they bring your food to the table when its ready. Make sure tovisit the 'round table' for toppings to add to your meal. Today was the first time we ever ate at a Newk's. I had the Newk's QPizza and my husband had Combo 1/2 Royal Sandwich and cup of the days soup lobster and crab bisque. The pizza is a good sizepersonal (6 slices) or good to share with someone if you get sides. Crust was thin which was very nice could have been a littlemore crispy. Could use more tomato, next time I'll order extra. Overall taste was very good. The 1/2 sandwich seemed a bit smallin size, there was a good amount of meat on it, could have used more vegetables (now we know so next time will order extralettuce and tomato), the bread was very good. The cup of soup was a good serving size and good taste and texture. The 2 mealsand 1 coke was $20. I will eat here again. Read more
