This is a very relaxed atmosphere, good service, good food. It's an American Mexican, the salsa was very mild. The fajitas came... sizzling like I've never experienced. I enjoy going here. In Knoxville, there's not a great Mexican restaurant, but this isn’t bad. It’s been my go-to restaurant... in the area. The food is usually pretty good & the service is almost always good. A couple of times, the food has been a littleoff, but it’s rare. I usually order crunchy beef tacos with rice and beans. It’s a standard meal for me, and it rarelydisappoints. Overall, I recommend the place. You won’t be disappointed. Read more

Delicious and very enjoyable! Our server, Luis, was very friendly and alert, frequently offering refills, and was quick to take... our order. The food came very quickly too. We ordered queso and chips to begin. There is a bar to order beverages, but we hadsodas and tea instead. We ordered the carne asada, double supreme fajitas, and steak fajitas and 3 tamales (chicken, beef, andpork). My whole family agreed it was all ???? yummy!!! Read more
Place was nice service was really good. Salsa had great flavor and is on the spicy side which is awesome!! We got some of their... spicy red sauce and SPICY it is.... really good though. Carnitas were really good and I loved the salsa verde. Rice and beanswere typical of most Mexican places. My wife got the Mole Mexican with chicken and WOW was it good. Great flavor!! Excellent little Mexican place. Staff was incredibly friendly. Food was well priced and delicious. My entire family was... pleased. The kids meal was affordable and still a good portion. The beans were not made with lard but soybean oil. Vegetarianrefried beans!!! We will absolutely return to this lovely place. Great decor. Good beer selection. I am really surprised this place has such good reviews. There are so many other great Mexican restaurants in Knoxville I am... confused by the ratings. The margaritas were overly sweet, with very little detectable alcohol and the food was way over saltedand I love salty stuff. The wait staff also seemed distracted even though there were very few people dining the night I went. Inaddition to all the aforementioned problems, the pricing seemed absurdly high for the portions and quality of food. Mi Pueblo,La Herradura, or even El Mezcal are much better choices. Read more
