Good food! The inside is nice. They need to do some repairs to the outside of the building.
Waitress pretty much through the food at us walked up and said what do we want. The sushi was better at Kroger. Price was good... but I'd rather pay more and get better food. Read more

We came in one evening in July, hoping to get some seafood like clams, scallop. But they didn't have any of them. However, the... posted price was still about 20$ for each adult. We go to Makino often. At least once or twice a month. Food and service is always good! We?ve never had a bad experience.... Yesterday was especially exceptional. Our sushi was very fresh and tasty. Our waiter, Ian, was very friendly and attentive.We?ll be asking for him again! This is one of our favorite restaurants since moving here. I honestly think everything hasimproved with the way they bring everything to your table vs. self serve buffet style. It might be a little more work for waitstaff, but I?m sure they waste a lot less food and things stay much cleaner. I would be happy if it stayed that way. Read more
1st time eating sushi and this place is great!!! So good and really nice atmosphere. Then went back a 2nd time later in the day,... food was horrible, service was horrible then the waitress insisted i leave her a tip! Also paid double of what i did my 1sttime. I will never be back. Ive never had a waitress insist that I leave her money for such bad service and really bad additude.But i didn't let it ruin my birthday just decided to never go back again!!!! 1st 3 pics was my 1st time the 2nd was so poorlyprepared i was ashamed to take a pic of it.???? Food was good! Service was ok. Waitress complained that she wanted a bigger tip from a couple in our party. She was tipped quite... well! Really disappointed by the bad service/experience. I?ve never heard of someone demanding more money from a tip. & I usedto wait tables. If you eat here bring enough money for the greedy server! Read more
