Greatly enjoyed the food, service was good for the fellows third day, hope he got most the tip which should have been over 50$... for 5 people and the restaurant takes the jerk chicken off the menu for they don't have a Jamaican vibe or cook it right. We love the bread . It is kind of like pretzel bread. My kids have decided they love pretzels and cheese and just got that to... share for their entree. The crab cakes are yummy! Usually I go with salmon but I branched out and tried something new. Myhusband always orders whatever the server recommends and has always liked it. He loves sitting outside and being to see theboats on the water while we relax and have dinner. The servers and people outside serving drinks were super nice and the foodis great. Tip: Make sure you get there before 5:30 if you don?t want want to wait more than 30-45 minutes for a table! Read more

Went for lunch. The bread was buttery and soft. Next came our drinks, the Old Fashioned was very nice. Husband had the... crabcakes and cheese grits which he loved. Bread was warm and fresh. Spinach dip was delicious. We had burgers and fries. The buns were lower quality and the patties were... too thin. I thought the fries were GREAT, shoe string fries cooked perfectly. I would go back but order something different.Service was slow but the waiter was excellent. Only... reason I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 is probably petty but one of the hostesses looked like she just climbed out of bed anddidn?t even brush her hair. My friend and I visited Lakeside Tavern for lunch and decided since it was a beautiful day, we would sit on the patio. Let me... start by saying seating wise, this restaurant can more than accommodate. They had a private dining area, multiple climatecontrolled seating areas, as well as a beautiful patio with an interior/exterior fireplace. Walking in, i wasn?t too appeased.There were 4 people standing behind the host stand, from what I could tell it was maybe 2 hosts and two servers. We were notwelcomed and 3 of them stared at us while the other played on his phone. We requested to sit on the patio and the hostess thatguided us to our table was very sweet and asked us about our day and even asked if the placement was alright. We were almostimmediately greeted by our server Allie. Allie has great customer service skills and was very attentive. The only ?complaint? Ihad was she didn?t suggestively sell or didn?t seem to know simple things about the menu like if it was a wood fired, charcoal,or gas fired oven. Other than that, she was amazing and the best part of our experience. The food was pretty good for the mostpart,we were given bread which was very salty and the butter was plain. the egg rolls were delicious. The chicken pasta was byfar my favorite and the burger was a little dry and the presentation wasn?t great. We skipped on alcohol and dessert today,although they do have a full bar. The Server Assistants seemed to be on top of keeping the tables cleaned as well as the floorsof the patio and lobby. The restrooms were very clean although a bit hard to find. The only complaint I would have would be theone manager I did see was sitting down eating at a booth eating and playing on his phone. There was plenty of parking, theatmosphere was good, and it was in a beautiful location. I would recommend this restaurant for a great date night or for apersonal private event.
