First time here. Ambience and atmosphere 5*. Food. 4.5. Great. But not the over the top delicious I was expecting. Service 4.5 *... My server seemed to be new to fine dining as she kept calling my scallops fish. And when I asked her if they had mineral water, she said no, we have the bubbly stuff. Do you mean sparkling water? I said. Her service, sweet demeanor and attention wasexcellent ????The live soft jazz was a perfect pairing for the atmosphere of their establishment. As a first time customer here,I was hoping for a visit from a manager to see what I thought of my meal. In fine dining especially, someone should always bemaking visits to the tables in management or a FOH supervisor. However with the exception of my server and the host who seatedme. No one spoke to me in the hour and a half I was there dining. The host, a man, was extremely welcoming, friendly andaccommodating. I also noticed him helping run food and pre bus and clear tables, as I would expect from someone with excellentwork ethic and a desire to help wherever it's needed. For the price tag and quality, I feel the portion sizes are a bit skimpy. The scallops were delicious but there were only 4 and they are not large scallops. A couple more scallops or larger ones wouldnot be too much to ask I think. The smoked wild mushrooms were perfect! The French Onion Soup delectable. The chocolate tortewas quite good, but a bit dry. I will return again soon. I work in Knoxville and live in Kodak. Read more

Update from Nov. 5, 2022 Since that first time, we’ve been there multiple times and the food is wonderful. They also try their... best; after my previous review they offered us a $100 gift card to make up for some of the shortcomings. Impeccable customerservice! They still have work to do in certain areas; the quality of the produce (beef) could be better, espresso could arrivehot not lukewarm, but overall this is the most consistent place in Knoxville for a nice date. I’d recommend it to anyone totry. Interesting place that tries very hard but has a few shortcomings. First of all, the drinks are strong and very generousin quantity; well done! Carpaccio was fresh and really well seasoned with truffle oils and capers; it’s probably the bestcarpaccio I’ve had in a year or so. The roast chicken was great (East Tennessee definitely knows how to do that!) but the siderisotto could be served warmer and have less sour flavor and more seasoning (salt!). However, the tables are way too close toone another and people bump their chairs a lot (cheap logistics!). The beet salad, though interesting, was under seasoned andneeded a pop: blue or feta cheese and a bit of balsamic vinegar would have made a huge difference. I’m discovering thatAmericans usually don’t know how to season beets. My husband’s filet mignon was expensive ($62!) and poorly executed: toodry, under seasoned (again, more salt please!), and the skin burnt. The purée was dry and under seasoned too; I make better oneat home. Desserts were good but not amazing; I was expecting way more because they have a pastry chef. Both cheese cake and keylime pie should be more moist to my taste. I like that they have espresso but it was served lukewarm and in a kind of a dirtycup with a candy that got stuck to the cup every time I had a sip of coffee. I wish we were compensated in some way by theshortcomings that we voiced (limited space between the tables and the dry steak) but the check arrived at close to $200 wi Read more

Memorable for the wrong reasons. We drove 1.5 hours for a terrible brunch. Pork tacos were mushy. Chicken breast was dry but... well seasoned. Fries and home fries were bland and starchy. OMG French toast didn't come with any syrup. Mimosa was bitter evenwith extra pineapple juice. Very disappointing. We will not return. Update: The manager graciously comped the meal. Thank you.He gave a $20 gift certificate to try again if we are ever in area again. Added another star for handling of the complaint. Read more

I had a great lunch here. Service was solid- not overly attentive. Nice outdoor seating area.

I have said so many times that there are no places left in Knoxville to have a great drink or dinner. Harvest is amazing. I had... mentioned that my wife and I were celebrating a special occasion. The staff at Harvest went well out of their way to make ouroccasion special. From the warmest greeting at the door from the hostess, Glo, who sat us in a less busy part of the floor at abeautifully decorated table, to our extremely knowledgeable and friendly waiter, Ryan, we felt cared for through the entireexperience. When my wife couldn’t easily select a wine from Harvest’s extensive list, the manager, Peter, came over and madethe process a breeze, even sending over a half glass of Sauvignon blanc for each of us as a recommendation. It had thatgrapefruit sweet tart smack in the finish that you expect from a Marlborough Sav Blanc. I had the Lillet Spritzer from the drinklist. It’s a must try. Crisp, refreshing, and slightly sweet. We decided to split several things from the food menu to satisfyour foodie curiosities. We started with the suggestion of the fresh oysters on the half shell. They were buttery with a hint ofbrine. Everything an oyster should be. Next was my favorite. Don’t mess around. Get the pork belly as an appetizer. Smoked toperfection, tender, and meaty not fatty. The outside was crisp and the inside soft. Everything a properly cooked pork bellyshould be. It was served over a wilted salad that was also to die for. My wife and I fought over this dish. You had to get itor it was gone. We then shared a beet salad. My wife is Mexican and beets are new to her. After eating that salad, they’reher new favorite vegetable. The arugula was tossed in a light coating of stone ground honey mustard with the red beets and goatcheese, plated over several slices of roasted golden beet. It was sweet, but not overpowering, and peppery. The flavors wereperfectly balanced. Everything a salad should be. Next was the cheese plate. This was the point when we were g Read more

This was the first, and unfortunately the last time I order lunch with Harvest. I ordered the Salmon BLT wrap for takeout... online. The quality of the food was great, and it tasted delicious. Unfortunately, the portion size was just not enough for an$18 lunch ($14 for the wrap plus tax and tip). I was definitely left wanting more. I hope Harvest considers increasing the sizeof their wrap in the future, especially at such a high price point. Read more

Came here for brunch and I have to say the food was fairly underwhelming. We got the shakshuka, which is one of my all time... favorite dishes, and I wasn’t impressed by their take on it. We wanted to try the pork belly tacos but were informed they wereout of the pork belly so we opted to try it with the prime rib instead. Unfortunately we thought the tacos were bland andhonestly quite disappointing. Their biscuit and gravy were tasty though. Drinks were pretty good. I prefer their Caribbeanmimosas over their regular mimosas. My boyfriend got their loaded Serrano Bloody Mary, which we both thought was super deliciousand I’m generally not even a fan of bloody marys. Service was very friendly, which is main reason we gave this place 4 starsinstead of 3. Overall, we may decide to come back and try their lunch or dinner menu but for brunch, there are definitely muchbetter options around town, especially for the price. Read more

The food was phenomenal, and the service staff were superb. We had the delivered eggs, chicken and dumplings, salmon, and the... lavender chess pie to finish it off. Super excited to dig into my leftovers! Read more
