Fried apples equals applesauce, obtw no whipped topping or Carmel sauce Two paper thin chicken tenders, my youngest child... would not get full off this. My 1st time at El Burro Flojo was a wonderful experience. I walked in when they opened and figured I'd have an early lunch... before some appointments. The salsa bar was unexpected and absolutely on point. The fresh cilantro always is a game changer. Theambience was calming and inviting. I loved all the bright art and decor all over the restaurant. The flavor was exceptional, the salsa bar was a surprise with many fresh homemade salsas. I have had more tender chicken but the... taste was wonderful. A draft mug of Pacifico topped it all off. We wanted to order 2 fish tacos combo. We called them 30 mins ago and they did not order it and made it for us at all! When we... arrived to pick up the order they told us they knew our order but they just did not make it at all. Excuse me? Stopped for a driving break and found this gem. Homemade sauces, guacamole was great. The food was excellent and our waitress... Crystal took the time to explain the menu items. Many authentic Mexican dishes including seafood. I opted for the Molcajetewhich had chicken, shrimp, steak. Crystal said it was for two, I didn't believe her- she wasn't kidding.
