Blown away by how good it was! Everyone really enjoyed their meals. A notch higher than other Mexican restaurants in town!

I was actually going here for an early dinner and going to get take out. When I walked in the atmosphere sucked me in, so I... decided to her a table and eat in. I'm so glad I did. I hope this establishment will stay in business. My wife and I visited last evening for the first time. It was around 18:30.... Upon arriving in the parking lot, it was easy to see this had been Wendy's. The interior renovation made it difficult to detectthis was ever a Wendy's. The company did a great job. Everything was very clean, from the floors to the table and chairs. Wewere greeted and seated promptly. Our drink order was taken and chips and salsa were brought to our table. The chips were hotand salsa was fresh. We placed our order and the food arrived to the table in roughly 10-15 minutes. Our waitress was veryattentive and made sure our beverages were always filled and our food was to our satisfaction. Subtle music in the backgroundand a decent amount of decorations made the environment enjoyable. We will definitely visit again, and recommend Don Chuy's toothers. Read more

Arrived around 6:30pm, they were busy and waited a few minutes to be seated. Had the Taco Borracho and they were delicious!... Every where is short staffed and everyone is doing there best, please be patient. Very clean and will definitely go back! Read more

So far the hands down best Mexican we have had in Knoxville! If you like spicy food this is your place. There was 6 of us and... not a single one of us had anything to complain about from drinks, food, to service. Erika was absolutely fabulous and verybubbly! They definitely kept her busy though. This place is really cool... This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Don Chuy's is in an old Wendy's building but the... interior and decor are really cool - very clean and well lit. The menu has a good selection of choices. I had their burritowhich was awesome and it was huge. The service was good. It is not in an easy to find location but it is worth the search. A tadpricey.
