Went 12/20/22 around 12:30 with my mom and the food was good but the service was not good. The server lady was nice, though I... think she was high on pills or something. She said it was the dinner rush lol but she only had 3 tables occupied in the wholerestaurant and nobody in the drive through. She didn?t offer to refill drinks at all. She forgot everything we asked for, forexample my mom asked for mayonnaise for her burger and she never brought it. She came to our table 30 minutes after taking ourorder and asked us if she was supposed to be bringing us anything even though she wrote down our order on her pad in her handand we only had drinks at the table. Needless to say we were there over an hour before we got our food. (2 hamburgers) and Iordered fries and got onion rings ??????????? it was empty in the restaurant. When I went to pay there was like four or fiveplates of food waiting in the window and she just left them sitting there. There was only like a total of four other people inthe restaurant that had been waiting forever and she just ran around all confused and didn?t take anyone there food. Walking in the employees were welcoming and great. My fiance has celiac disease meaning she can't eat gluten, they cooked and... cleaned off a different surface to ensure she was safe eating and it was an all around great time. Would come back! Read more
We stopped in at Denny's for lunch at 4834 North Broadway Street in Knoxville, TN. We had never been to this particular Denny's,... but had been to the one down on Watt Road off I-40 before a couple of years ago and remembered liking it. As we walked in, ourshoes were sticking to the lobby floor. I mean, every step We took, the floor stuck to our shoes! It was NOT a good firstimpression to know the front entrance to the restaurant is dirty. We approached the desk where a woman came out and asked us,"How many?" I told her there was just the two of us. She pointed over at some chairs near the entrance and told us to wait thereand that she would be with us in a few minutes and turned around and went through a doorway and disappeared. We stood and waitedand waited. She never came back. I looked around. All the high tables and chairs were empty. I looked around the corner. I couldsee maybe 10 people seated. Still no one came to seat us. A couple of workers came out and stood near the entrance to the backwhere she had went. We finally left. Read more
The restaurant was relatively empty and we were seated promptly. We took a while to order since the menu is quite large. I had... the spicy skillet and asked for the 5 pepper sauce and pepper cheese on the side since I frequently wind up not liking manyplaces sauces and didn't want to ruin the meal. I am glad I did that! No one I was with liked the 5 pepper sauce and the cheesesauce is more like a simple somewhat gritty roux with a little bit of cheese and peppers mixed in. The 5 pepper sauce iswretchedly bad and I couldn't even describe it if I tried. In any case, I was able to push those things to the side and enjoy myactual meal, which was quite good. Next time I will order it without the pepper cheese or 5 pepper sauce and I will add a sideof sour cream. I tried my friend's pancake and it was pretty good. The eggs received were a bit scorched but overall it was agood meal, and an enjoyable time. Our waitress was a bit distracted and stopped paying much attention to us near the end but wewere not in a rush so it was still not a real issue. Read more

This a good Denny's. It's not bad. But, it's not the best. We've ate here twice. The first time was a mess. The food was good,... and our server was nice. Although there was only two people running this whole restaurant! They did all the could and didn'ttake it out on anyone - until the person who was supposed to be there came in late. The two women went off on them, and we couldhear everything through the whole dining area. The food is pretty greasy, and sometimes overcooked. Although still edible. Read more
