Reviews for Dazzo's Pizzeria in Knoxville, TN
Delicious (Gluten Free) Pizza! Cool dine-in atmosphere. Great staff. Family friendly. This hidden gem on gay street is a must... for locals and visitors alike. Perhaps the best pizza in all of Knoxville! They?re taking tips from their sister restaurant theBijou at the Bistro (also GF friendly), right across the way. Hate it took us so long to discover it! I recently came here with a group of nine. All the workers were super friendly and chill. We did not have reservations yet, they... still took the time to serve our large group. The Pizza was pretty good and cheap for how large it was. The drinks as well werevery large compared to other restaurants. The interior design was also very cool especially the bathroom wall decor. Thebathrooms were also relatively clean and nice looking. They also have a baby changing station in the female bathrooms. (I haveno idea about the male bathrooms) Overall this was a very lovely pizza shop to go to and I recommend it to any in the area! Read more
I really enjoyed this pizzeria. Even though our pizza was burned originally according to the kitchen staff. When it was brought... to the table, it was not as bad as it was made out to be. We told them that we would eat it and not to worry about remaking it. We really did enjoy the pizza. About 5 minutes before we were ready to leave the server brought us a replacement pizza andboxed it up. Cudos to Dazzo's for going the extra mile to keep a customer. Just because an experience doesn't start off thebest doesn't mean that you cant thoroughly enjoy the experience. This place was well worth the money and time spent. Read more
Went to Dazzo's for a pie last Wednesday night. It's a little place by the Tennessee Theater. First of all it has concert... posters and hand bills framed through out the restaurant. Tons of cool stuff. Greatful Dead, B.B. King, Willie Nelson,Morrissey, Santana, Dolly Parton, and the list goes on and on. Really like the vibe inside. The pizza was very good. That crustis the real deal. Crunchy and chewy nice and thin. Excellent sauce with flavorful sausage. Awesome with some cold beer. Thestaff was very friendly and the pizza was made fast. Almost to fast as I was still taking pictures of the concert posters. Ifyou love pizza and good music this is a must stop pizza parlor. Read more
Amazing pizza just off the beaten path in downtown Knoxville. When all the other tourist trap restaurants were on a wait we were... able to get right in and order here. Our eyes were bigger than our appetites but we also have leftover pizza! I would highlyrecommend this place! Read more
This place is amazing. They make great gluten free pizza and took my allergies into account when making fresh sauce for me. The... workers were also kind and efficient. The food is delicious and not overpriced! It?s my new favorite pizza. Read more
My best friend and I visited yesterday and we both agreed that this is a great place for a later lunch. Wednesday afternoon... between 2-4pm we practically had the dining room to ourselves. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful; he took excellent careof us. We ordered the garlic cheesy bread for starter and the grilled cheese pizza. We got the 12 inch pizza and it wasperfect! A lovely, hot and crispy New York style pie with roasted garlic white sauce, ricotta, goat cheese , mozzarella andParmesan. It was phenomenal. So good that the phone did not get to eat first. LOL The best cheese pizza I have ever had in myentire life! I didn?t get pictures of what we ordered to eat, I did get ones of the very cool dining room. I will definitelybe bringing more of my friends to Dazzo?s Pizza and trying all there yummy pies. Thank you, Dazzo?s for taking such good care ofme and my best friend. She comes all the way from Iowa and loves your food! Read more
The atmosphere was decent, but the food was terrible. I ordered spaghetti and meat sauce and expected a great meal based on the... reviews and all the patrons enjoying pizza. The guy at the register attempts to hand me to go order with no utensils or even a bag. I asked for a bag and utensils, and he seemed shocked that I would ask for it and said some people don't need that. After Igot back to my hotel literally a block and a half away and opened the container instead of smelling the aroma of the delectablefood the other patrons were enjoying, the food had a ridiculous amount of oregano and other spices in it and penne pasta mixedwith the spaghetti. If this is how they are choosing to serve spaghetti or if this is their take on new York style Italian food, they need to go back to the drawing board. Completely disappointed in this experience, I threw the entire thing away, and myentire hotel room smells like this poor attempt at pasta. Complete waste of money. I do not recommend it. If you are a touristsearching for a decent restaurant, look elsewhere. If an Italian restaurant can not get a simple pasta dish right, they shouldnot serve it. Read more
