Got a big bout of Salmonella I suspect has to be from the Cook Out. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce & tomato... late this past Friday 10/15. Usually it's the lettuce/tomato which carries salmonella. Hey, it happens everywhere guys... I'mnot totally ripping Cook Out here, the service was quick & polite late at night .. but I've had salmonella 3 days, had to callin sick to work myself. Excellent hush puppies. My dog agrees that the long line out into the four-lane was worth it.
This location was a ?miss? today. Mind you, I have not visited THIS location before, but have been to several other of their... locations, more than once. To this locations credit, the drive through speaker works much better than the Powell Emory Roadlocation just up the road aways. The dining room was locked at this location as well, (like our previous visit to the PowellEmory Road location) as recently as 2 weeks ago. Therefore we ?chose? to go through the drive-through. The ?menu-board? was adisaster at this location, no rhyme or reason to its organization. The prices were still very fair. We were THE ONLYVehicle in the drive through this afternoon between 3:30 and 4:00 PM (Sept 11, 2022) We ordered a ?Double Cheeseburger and aSingle Cheeseburger, a small French fry, and a Banana Berry milkshake? which only comes in medium size. The total was around$17 (US). The single cheeseburger was well prepared and nicely presented, and very flavourful. The double cheeseburger wasan absolute disaster. The two ?patties? were less than half the surface area of the bun, and round like golf balls. Theslice of tomato was 3/4 on an inch thick and the onion, was the same. The cheese was sufficiently melted, and the bun wasliterally falling apart. It was quite frankly ?.almost too much of a mess to eat! The fries were good, they were served hotand crispy, but they forgot to put ketchup packets in the bag and did not include napkins. The ?Banana Berry? milkshake wasabsolutely AWFUL. It was only filled 3/4 full, came with a broken lid, and had not been sufficiently blended so the straw couldactually function as it should. I assume, I suspect?.heck?.I HOPE they were just having an ?off-day?, because I generally enjoy?Cook Out? as a whole, but TODAY was a sub-optimal experience, at this location. Read more
Don't let Google lie to you. Their lobby is not open. Used to be a good place to go sit and eat, but now I guess they find it... easier to have a drive through only. The excuse of staffing issues doesn't work anymore. Every other restaurant lobby is open. Read more
Visited today 5/29/22 Christopher took my order. He was very polite and respectful! The world needs more people like... Christopher thank you for making me feel appreciated as a customer. I ordered a big double tray cheeseburger, onion rings(7),white cheddar bites(6) and a sprite. Sorry I took the pictures after I ate most of it. The burger was fresh and tasty the onionrings and white cheddar bites were good as well. The service was swift and this is how you do business thank you for a wonderfulexperience! Decent place for a late night meal. They gave me the wrong chicken sandwich. Pretty small, but still good. Make sure you get 2... different sides. We ordered 2 sides of fries, and this was their version of "2 sides". Read more
Ordered through drive thru tonight- night of vols home game (10/29). Alex took our order with such enthusiasm and precision.... Woman taking payments was very nice as well.
