Stopped by Cinnaholic for something sweet to enjoy on my birthday. I had the Great Smoky Mountain (pictured) was honestly a bit... too much peanut butter for me mixed in to enjoy the other flavors. My favorite roll was "Monkey Business" (not pictured),absolutely delicious with just the right amount of bananas, chocolate and marshmallows! A great stop for sweet-goodness asyou're passing through. Popped in to appease my sweet tooth and instead left with a cavity. I got the "Old Skool" because I feared the calories and... sugar in all the other options. I was hoping for a classic cinnamon bun heavy on the cinnamon but instead I got a pretty blandbun that was a little dry with a huge dollop of frosting on top. I was honestly confused when I saw it. Once the frosting meltedit looked a little more normal. 2 stars because the menu is vegan, but sadly not worth the money or the 20 minute drive. Youwill need a gallon of water/milk on standby. We asked for cookies and a piece of brownie. The brownie was freshly made but our kid couldn?t cut it because it was so HARD.... After we paid, we asked if the cookies are fresh like the brownie, she said no and mentioned that she should?ve communicatedthat to us but forgot. She didn?t offer heating them up, and said quickly that she would offer a refund for the cookies. We hada bad visit previously, and decided to give it a second try, but now we?re sure it is going to be our last. Adding to that,when I asked about the least sweet option at the store, she provided an option but said that it is a sweet store and it is ahard question since it is unlikely to find something not too sweet there. Cinnamon rolls were a little too sweet. They weren?t very soft as I expected. The cream and toppings were too sweet. We asked... for milk to go with the cinnamon roll but they didn?t have any regular whole. The rolls were more pleasing to the eyes than thepalate. I would highly recommend the cookie dough. It was delicious! They are open later than most other dessert places whichwas nice . The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Read more
