The taco salad bowl was great. Husband enjoyed the spinach dip and cheese curds. Would order again .

Honestly, three stars is probably being generous. We have been to Carolina Ale in other cities and really enjoyed it. This was... our first visit to the Knoxville location, and I don't think we will be back. The restaurant happened to be hosting a fundraiser (no issues with that whatsoever), and our server asked us if we would like to donate to the fund raiser as he was takingour drink order. I thought that was kind of odd. The timing just wasn't great. Overall, the server was polite and did his best. When it came time to order, I inquired about a couple of the new menu items that were advertised at the hostess stand. Theserver could not really answer my questions and also said that the items were not available yet. He said that they weretransitioning to a new menu but did not have several of the new items. My husband ordered a southwest burrito that came withtortilla chips, but he was told that salsa would be an extra charge. We did not ask for salsa, but it was offered. Why not justinclude salsa in the price? I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. When the food came, we were definitely underwhelmed withpresentation and quality. The tortilla chips were stale and the salsa was less than stellar. My buffalo chicken wrap had nosauce or heat to it at all. I had to ask for the buffalo sauce which improved it. The dish came with a child size portion ofFrench fries. I finished the meal and did not leave feeling full whatsoever. Overall, we were not impressed. There are plenty ofother really good places to eat in Knoxville that we will likely skip this one in the future. Read more

Good food, but the servers were not great. They spilled tea all over the table and several places on the floor and didn't... bother to wipe it up. Read more
