October 30th 2022, I stopped at Captain D's on Chapman Highway and I ordered the cat fish platter came with three sides and hush... puppies. For my sides I ordered 2 orders of extra well done okra & mac and cheese. Well needless to say my okra was barelycooked at all the mac and cheese wasn't good at all. I don't understand they have you sit there and wait inline supposedlycooking your food and you get it and it's practically raw what is up.? Try calling them several times but no one answers thephone so I left a message no one has yet to call me back. I don't like spending almost $20 for lunch and then have to bring ithome and re cook it. How would anyone think that this potato would be acceptable? We spent $23 on two to-go meals. The food was not fresh and... barely warm. After I ordered, I noticed that the floor was filthy. Wife spent an hour in drive through, spent over $30 and gets home to a starving family that's just waiting to eat! Opens the... food and ever peice of the fish is covered in absolutely burnt to a black crisp little crunchy bit.. Why in the world would youall actually put this in a box and serve it to a customer? This is completely unacceptable, we will be requesting a full refundand will not visit this location again.. :update: we finally get an email from customer service a month later and my wife goesto the store expecting a refund as that is what she was told to do. And manager refuses to give refund still. We will befilling civil suit if this is not made right. I will at this point be filling a complaint with BBB first this Mondaymorning.. We do not want the food remade! And I sware I will send $10k taking you all to court just to prove a point if that uswhat it takes! Read more
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD!!!! This is by far the worst restaurant that I have ever been to. The lobster roll sandwich... looked nothing like the picture on the drive through window. There are sandwich rolls for sandwiches, but the restaurant choseto use a bun that was smaller than a hotdog bun. We stop here every now and again and everytime we do the food is always been good. And the service has always been a good... experience from either walking into the place or going thru the drive thru. Never had to wait long to receive our orders... Read more
Longer than normal wait in the drive through (10 min) but the fish was overcooked and had black specks and spots throughout, I... can only guess that the oil was not cleaned or changed in a timely manner. I was very disappointed in the food. Read more
