The dining room was closed when we visited which was fine with us. I inquired as too why when it was our turn at the window and... was told very short staffed. Very sad that this seems to be the norm across our country. Now on to my review, to those of youwho were working at the Halls Crossroads location on 09/16/22 you all knocked it out of the park. The service was spectacularwith absolutely no waiting. Our food was some of the best we've had since we've been going to this location. Y'all definitelydeserve more than just a pat on the back or a good review but unfortunately this is all I have to offer. Thanks Y'all and wewill be back! Read more

Stopped at Captain D's in Halls Crossroads. Has been our favorite fish place to eat. However, the last few times will be our... last. The fish, okra and hush puppies were over-cooked. Sent them back and got even worse food. We will not be back. I spentmore than $25 for our food. Was supposed to get 2 sides; got charged for the 2nd side. The staff is nice but the deep fried food gave me an upset stomach. Not because it's bad, no the flavor is good, but I'm not... used to deep fried foods and there seems to be a lot of deep fried foods. But a little, at least for me, goes a long way. Goodvalue for the money Read more

Hushpuppies old and cool. Gumbo was obvious it was microwaved heated. It was dried out and boiled over onto side of foam cup.... Fish sandwich was okay but no sauce on it whatsoever. Read more
