I gave up on this place a few years ago, but decided to give it another chance thinking maybe they had changed. Wrong. No... matter what you order, it all taste the same. Blah. Also, if you order take out, they don?t provide complimentary chips andsalsa like every other Mexican restaurant in town. So the food was cooked and presented in a timely fashion, if timely is over 18 minutes...lol. it was good to look and taste. We... just were seated after a party had ordered so no option was offered until 15 minutes sitting there, we were advised about thebig party and our options to chose were no longer viable. Read more

It's too loud the.sheer echo of the building makes it super hard to eat in a relaxed environment. The food isn't really that... great. And the prices compared to other Mexican style restaurants is way to expensive. I don't mind paying the price if the foodis good but this one is mediocre at its best. Read more

I haven't eaten at the Chapman Hwy Cancun Mexican Restaurant in several years and really was surprised to find they remodeled... and a new menu. The interior is now open and not as dark and the menu had new food items. The ingredients were fresh andpresented beautifully on our plates. They also have a few more choices on the vegetarian list. I tried this place as my regular place (Silvia's) had serious problems with order accuracy. Food here is good. I order... pickup/delivery here a few times a week. Expensive but worth it. However, order accuracy is a problem here - the worstoffender in my experience. I order here once or twice a week and my order is wrong more times than its correct. I always order 1entree and 4 side items. I often receive an incorrect entree, and am missing an entire side item almost every time I order here.My order is correct less than 20% of the time. The receipt is accurate every time. Meaning; I unfortunately cannot blame thison the rude hostess, it is a problem with whoever is reading the tickets and bagging the orders. This food here is delicious. Everything i've tried here is genuinely great. My favorite salsa in Knoxville. I have a review on... here detailing how great the food is, and consistently. That being said, the wait staff here (including the hostess,waitresses, everyone we've dealt with) are very, very bad - and not just a few times, it's every time. It's been bad for a longtime, but it's getting worse. The past few visits the hostess and wait staff were SO rude that we decided not to dine-in anymoreand just carry-out. For context, we are veryyyy easy-going laid back folks, we typically smoke right before we come here. Nevergave the staff a problem. Now, just carrying out, having to deal with JUST THE HOSTESS is such a chore that i'm not sure we'llcarry out anymore either. Absolutely ridiculously rude, hateful, angry, miserable folk here. Me and my wife ate at this location last night and it was HORRIBLE. Our waitress absolutely SUCKED. We finished our drinks and... waited a good 10 mins before our cup was refilled.
