Service was great, we had stopped going for a while due to multiple trips with horrible service. But this time it was great. We... were sat in the bar area. Food was delicious. Not only does the Mac&Cheese inedible, but the prime rib had so much Fat, I'll probably have a coronary embolism!!! The Server... tried to do a good job, but unfortunately he doesn't know how to fill a glass, till you ask.... Btw, that plate of fries is onlythere because I told him to take it away..... Major disappointment. I visited this Calhoun’s while traveling and it was conveniently located near my hotel. I ordered 6... smoked wings and as you can see in the picture the wings are tiny. Even the manager said most people complain about the size ofthe wings. So why not change that? The wings were also hard and overcooked and came with no sides. $12 for 6 tiny wings isshameful. I also ordered two sides of Mac and cheese and the portion was very small and it was bland. I ordered a freshlysqueezed lemonade but they didn’t have lemons. So I got sweet tea instead and it wasn’t sweet at all. The only thing thatsaved this from being a 1 star is the catfish. My wife really enjoyed it. The manager also was very empathetic and refunded usfor the items that weren’t good so that was good. But from all the good I heard, my wife and I were very disappointed. The service was great, staff was friendly, and food was pretty good. The only complaints I have are there's only 1 bbq flavor... and the Mac and cheese wasn't good. Love the smoker smell that fills the restaurant, makes you crave the food more. Read more
