Reviews for Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop in Knoxville, TN
What can I say, local franchise, family owned and delicious. Now they need to make everything 0 calorie so I can visit more... often. I even got told this week, you get freebies on your birthday Read more
The pies are amazing but as others have stated, the customer service at this location is beyond stale and dry. They give you... the look as if you?ve just walked in before closing and don?t want to serve you or like you?ve ruined their peace and quiet.I?ve experienced this several times at this location. I love the Kingston Pike location?s customer service better but TurkeyCreek is closer to me. Read more
As newcomers to the state, this was a very poor first and last impression. We walked in and weren't acknowledged at all. I... walked over to check something else out, and the people behind me were immediately given attention. I was very excited to trythese pies, but because of this I will steer clear. They seem to be picky about who they serve. Customer service is clearly downthe drain these days. This shop wasn't anything truly impressive, either. I will never recommend anyone to try this companybased on customer service alone. Horrible management, no respect unless you look wealthy clearly. Read more
Haven't been in Knoxville very long but wow. I ordered every variety of pie from this shop in the 4 inch size and not a single... pie disappointed. Even the coconut pie which I don't like coconut was out of this world. Killer pies. Read more
The peanut butter cream pie and chocolate chip pie were very good. We got thumbprint cookies also. I really like the... thumbprint cookies with the pecan crust like other bakeries, these were more shortbread. Still tasted good. Would like to tryother flavor of pies! Read more
There are certain guilty pleasures in life that really should be free from guilt. Picking up one (at least, and probably more)... of the amazing pie selections from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop would definitely be splurge-worthy. You will find big pies (9 inch)and small pies (4 inch) in varieties including key lime, peanut butter, coconut cream, pecan, apple and the unique "I-40" (seethe website for complete descriptions of all pies). On this visit, I bought a small chocolate cream pie and a spiced applecustard. Always delighted to stop in for a rewarding treat. Great for any holiday gathering. Read more
Love the I-40 pie! It?s everything I enjoy about a pecan pie combined with one of my favorite desserts, a seven-layer bar.... Pecans and chocolate chips and coconut? Can?t go wrong. (Also really appreciate that all their pies come in 9-inch sizes toshare or 4-inch sizes for sampling. Such a great idea.) Read more
How can you not love this place??!!?? Every pie they make is a decadent indulgence one has to experience. Just know you'll need... some extra time on the treadmill later but it is so worth it. Every time we go they are a destination trip not a casual purchasebecause we were near by. A must experience dessert in the Knoxville area. Read more
