I stopped here on a long road trip hoping for some healthy, whole foods. I was a disappointed to find out that their bowls were... sherbet based with sugar. A couple did not have sherbert but they were dairy based or were smothered in chocolate sauce. This isdefinitely more of a dessert place than healthy smoothie bowls or smoothies. This is a great place for Açaí bowls. My wife and I just got back from Hawaii where we had one everyday and it was super... exciting to find blossom bowls in our neck of the woods. As tasty and beautiful as these bowls are, I?m disappointed in the amount of added sugar in all of the bases. I wish there were... an option for no added sugar. Especially since açaí and pitaya are supposed to be ?super foods,? it doesn?t make sense tocancel out their benefits by adding loads of sugar. I also wish they were more transparent by providing a list of ingredients /nutrition info on their website or on a flyer in store; I had to inquire of an employee what ingredients are in the bases. Thatsaid, for a special treat, the bowls are extremely tasty and I?ve always enjoyed their flavor. Read more
