Very disappointed with our meals. Salmon was very plain, flounder was over cooked, and dessert portions were skimpy. Not worth... the price you pay. Could have gotten the same thing at a number of places in Knoxville for at least half the price. Don?twaste your money. Read more

Great service and food. Everything is prepared wonderfully and looks so nice on the plate. The slaw that comes with the lime... cilantro shrimp is delicious and I could have eaten a whole serving of that alone. The chicken was extremely tender and justenough char. Perfect for a night out. Read more
Quiet and warm atmosphere with delicately prepared dishes. Very healthy and generous proportioned plating. They have a brunch,... lunch, and dinner menu. The menu changes seasonally. My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying the Fall menu: Curried Chickenand a Ceasar Salad, Butternut Squash Scallops and perfectly prepared Crab Cakes, and for a light dessert: Apple Pie with a dabof Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a Deconstructed S'mores. Very good; could be amazing with very little effort. I love the idea behind the restaurant and I think it could become a fine... dining place very easily. The service was excellent, they serve delicious and generous drinks, and they?re very reasonablypriced. But the waiter could have either warned me about the level of spice in the bouillabaisse or it should have been markedin the menu as spicy. Also, we noticed the kitchen doesn?t time the dishes well, so they sit in the window and arrive lukewarmat the table, which I dislike especially with red meat. Basically, nothing arrived warm enough tonight; and it?s too bad becauseI can tell they try very hard. In addition, all food could use more seasoning, especially salt. And tone down on pepper; itdoesn?t have to be on everything, including the crouton bread pieces in the appetizers. Lastly, they don?t serve espresso, whichto me is disappointing because I like a small shot after a heavier meal. They can?t aspire to be a fine dining place withoutserving European style coffees. But it is by far the best restaurant in Knoxville I?ve eaten so far, with excellent service(they didn?t make me pay for the mean dish because the bouillabaisse arrived spicy), and I do want to go back for more sometime.
