Reviews for Bida Saigon in Knoxville, TN
I went here based on the Google reviews. Don't let those high star marks fool you. This place is average at best as far as the... taste of the food is concerned. I had a bowl of the special pho and the special pork chop. The pho was okay. The pork chop wasterrible and tasted nothing like it's supposed to be. It was very bland, dry and the pork chops were tiny. I cut one piece ofthe pork chop and tasted it. Then I immediately pushed the plate away from myself. I left the plate untouched after that. I toldthe waitress that the pork chops were not good and not the way they're supposed to be. She said she was sorry but made noattempt to call management or offer a refund on an untouched plate essentially. Terrible. I'll never go back there again. Read more
Food was good but giving this a 4 star over a 5 star because the Pho seemed a little watered down or just missing something and... the meat didn?t taste right. I eat Vietnamese food often and one of my favorite cuisines. I still enjoyed it. If I was in thearea, probably wouldn?t go there again though Read more
I thought the eucalyptus leaves and sliced jalapeño pieces were amazing in the beef broth. I'm not super experienced with... Vietnamese cuisine but I liked what I had and intend on going back. The servers were friendly and we didn't feel out of placewith four children. Read more
We wanted something a little bit different and they didn't disappoint. We ordered the rare beef and the chicken pho. Both were... very good and portions were huge. Neither of us could finish what we ordered. We also tried the egg rolls and shrimp springrolls which were also very good. Unfortunately we ate the egg rolls before we got a picture lol Read more
Food is OK, the restaurant isn?t clean. When we came in for lunch, the waiter recommended their summer rolls and phos. He was... actually kind of pushy about it and advised against the shredded pork sandwich because it had skin in it. The summer rolls werevery good but we ordered their sandwiches (pork and chicken) and those were disappointing; they were kind of dry (both bread andthe meat!). I?d go back to try their phos but I feel like they have only a few things that they try to make we?ll and the restthey don?t care about it. Also, the place is a mess! It has stains everywhere, smells funny and everything is sticky; they needto clean much more regularly. I also recommend opening the windows once in a while. Read more
One of my absolute favorite restaurants! They have the best pho, rice papers, crispy egg rolls and banh mi!!!
If you like pho , this is the place for you ! I'm not the biggest pho fan in general but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here !
The meals (specifically the pho) here are warm and inviting on a chilly day! Heck, even on a warm day you'll find me here.... Service is friendly and fast, food is AMAZING, and I leave full every time. Easily one of my most favorite places in town forpho. Highly recommend! Read more
