One of the few places in town for non-Americanized Chinese and specifically Szechuan food! Many hot pots, clay pots, vegetable... forward, and offal-using dishes. Note they are more family style so portions are large. They also have the more familiar lomein, fried rice and general tso stuff and it is a cut above in quality as well. I almost always get the fish (pictured) or beefin Szechuan chili sauce. We also enjoy the bok Choy and shiitake mushrooms in oyster sauce. Update 7/21/22. They got an updated new menu. The food is great as usual and service is faster! ******* Food was great. The... presentation was good and it was yummy. Only thing I would expect to be better next time is serving time. 40 min wait to getfood (include 10 min wait until someone to come by to ask for drink) is not pleasant, but it is forgiven as it was delicious.Well be back. We were visiting Knoxville from out of state and found Asia Kitchen on Google. The reviews were promising and we got take out to... have at our hotel. We were so impressed with the quality, and are not exaggerating when we say this was the best Chinese cuisinewe have ever had. It was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The menu had a lot of authentic Chinese dishes - one that we tried wasthe Red Pork. This was one of the best Asian entrees we have ever had! Also, the pork belly appetizer was amazing, it was eatenin seconds. If we visit Knoxville again, we will definitely be back. Read more
Terrible! We thought since there were people of Asian decent it would be outstanding. We were told, “ real slow tonight..”... We ordered basic shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice with an appetizer sliced pork with garlic sauce. One hour later the porkarrived! But no… wait for it… it was bacon. That’s right not sliced pork but bacon! Left. We will not be back. Read more

I have to say, coming from NYC the food here is way better. That is sad. The mapo tofu doesn't taste like sauce packets from the... supermarket, they put rice in a huge bowl for you to share and not stringy with it either. The mince meat soup is filled withmeat and veggies and tofu chunks unlike the NYC counter parts. The vegetables are clean again, unlike the nyc counter parts. Ifyou are NYC restaurant owner and you read this review and you know you cheap out on materials and charged arm and a leg. Shameon you. These guys did it way better. Read more
