I thought we were a Lil loud for the Sunday crowd. But that's my family. The food portions was just perfect even tho it was the... Sr portion, it was quite filling. Christos is a super cozy and cute place. I LOVE the decor and friendly people. My last visit was a little less enjoyable. I'm... not sure if it was the layout of the restaurant or everyone liked to talk really loud in Knox but we could hear everyone'sconversations over our own. There were only 4 tables with customers. One table had a customer using all sorts of profanity (theywere loud). I understand it's not the restaurants fault but it definitely took away from the experience. The food was good butI was told after I ordered that my mash potatoes weren't included even though it said plainly on the menu all dinner entreesincluded a potato. This ended up costing an additional $5 which I hadn't expected. Just a little less satisfying than I havebeen with them. Read more
Absent minded waitress, second time in a row, plus extremely slow service. We came after the lunch crowd on Sunday, so we... expected a faster service since most guests have left or were leaving as we sat down. We felt like the waitress forgot about us,and frankly we were ready to leave, that’s how long it took to get our food. When she finally arrived she did not even mentionthe delay, just served us our dishes and left. Then the minute we started eating another waitress and our original one keptcoming by to ask how we’re doing. Then about a 5-10min wait at the counter to pay for the meals because when the host finallyshowed up, he took the waiting guests to their table and disappeared for several minutes. The whole experience seemed chaoticand we had a pretty similar one last time, in June. Same absent minded waitress and a long wait for food and service. Left a 10%tip and won’t be coming back. Christos, was an up and down experience. At first arrival, things were looking up to start the desert case was filled to the... brim with what looked to be delicious little treats. As the fun took a turn with staff who just seemed to busy to really behelpful. Drinks took quite a while to get, then when they arrived it seemed to be an inconvenience to take our food order rightaway. Our salad and rolls arrived first and thank goodness for the extra dressing which drowned the salad because the waxybutter that was for the rolls wasn't quite enough to battle the roll lol. Food finally did arrive after the 20min wait allotedfor fried chicken ???? which was actually quite good. The lasagna was a taste to be desired, some would say it was good and somemaybe that it's just yesterdays left over covered in new sliced cheese ???? . The fish was also a good plate to try . And lastbut not least the desert case which was a catch to the eye wasn't too bad if you like a thin pie with about 3 inches of whipcream deliciousness fancy spread topped with a cherry ???? needless to say this critic gives Christos Family Dining a 2 star,with a go ahead and give it a shot review, you may like it . Very satisfied with the waitresses but the food is subpar the steak as much as they charge should at least have some flavoring.... Absolutely no seasoning at all on any meat burgers or steaks. disappointed in the cooks. But otherwise pleasant evening Read more
Christos Family Dining has been our "go to" place for lunch for a while. Their food is delicious! I really love the Cobb salad... with grilled chicken because it is always fresh and plentiful. The vast dessert choices will surely satisfy your sweet toothcravings too. Read more
Aside from the chicken Parmigiano not looking appealing it tasted disgusting. The chicken itself looked pathetic and didn't... taste to great. The spaghetti and sauce was dreadful. Over cooked. Seasons to the point it was unedible. Just all around bad. Iwrite this at hour 7 of what feels like a stomach flu. Worst experience I've had in a long time.
