Where do I start about this one of a kind German dining experience?!? Our group of four went to supper on Saturday night - our... first time there. You definitely don't find this place by accident hahahaha. You are definitely going to be visiting new areason your way to the restaurant - great drive, but don't blindly follow Google Maps to get you there hahahaha. You will want tomake a reservation if you plan on eating here without worry of getting turned down after the drive to the country. We wereseated quickly and first drinks came out with a bread bowl in no time. Now everything after this point is a dining experience.Don't expect to come here to grab a quick bite. The meal is very traditional - enjoy your company between each course and expectto be full when you leave ????????????. Everything that came out to the table was awesome German food. We had a great time andthe waitress was amazing. We had a great laugh all the way along and literally were there for three hours. At no time do youfeel rushed to finish and be out the door- we literally left 20 minutes after closing because we didn't notice the time.Although this restaurant is over an hour away from our place, we'll be back for sure - amazing place. I've been wanting to come here for years! I lived in Germany for 4 months one summer and the food here at Gasthof absolutely... nails the traditional Bavarian style food, really great stuff. The beer on tap was almost as good as it would be fresh inGermany so that was a nice surprise. I'm definitely coming back again! Read more
