What a breath of fresh air to the Knightdale restaurant scene. You are greeted with wonderful bright colors and the furniture is... painted in the Latino culture. We had such a wonderful meal! Everything was cooked wonderful and well size portions andauthentic South American food! The homemade Chicharrones and salsa were very tasty. We started off with a few ears of streetcorn and it was delicious. The margaritas were great and not oversized. We had 2 families and tried a little bit of everythingand such a treat. We ate and ordered way too much and it was all good but next time we know what to order. We had carnitas andmany other dishes. I know this place will be hard to get into in a couple of weeks after it catches on. I felt sorry for the 1waitress but she did an awesome job! My only main complaint was there was NO WIFI! We couldn't post or anything and we got nosignal. Can't wait to go back to such a wonderful addition to Knightdale! Read more

Las Brasas was phenomenal! You need to know that this IS NOT a Mexican restaurant! This is South American food (Columbian,... Venezuelan, Salvadoran, etc.). If you have never tried this type of food before then you need to give it a chance! My wife and Imet in South American and we love food like this! There aren?t many traditional South American restaurants around. We tried theMaracuya, fried yuca, tostones (fried plantain), arepa, pupusa, and quesa birria! Everything was fresh and delicious! This is NOT a Mexican restaurant. This IS a South American restaurant. For example, there is not a burrito on the menu and... instead of chips and salsa they bring you fried pork skins and salsa. Also if you are looking for vegetarian options this isnot the place for you either. Now if you are able to get past those things you will find an interesting blend of entrees andsides. Drinks were yummy, food was tasty, service was good. We enjoyed our meal. If you are looking for something a littledifferent than your standard fare I suggest giving this restaurant a chance. Decided to try this place out as we were in the mood for oysters. The food was pretty good. Customer service needs a bit of work... but that?s to be expected for a new establishment with only 2 waitresses. Prices were fair and food portions were good. Read more
MY DISCLOSURE 3.5 Stars!!! This establishment gives a different spin on the Spanish culture food. Not your tyical just refeied... beans, yellow rice and some enchiladas thrown on a plate. The atmosphere is clean, alive and so colorful. You're going todefinitely smile. The staff were friendly and pleasant. Sadly I wasn't too impressed with the food that didn't seem tooauthentic or flavorful. Like all eateries, the economy calls for less to be delivered. Overall I appreciate the services of theowner and their staff but this is not one of my more desirable Mexican cuisines. Remember people, smile often, do good & begrateful. Read more
