Large selection of Hot Dogs. Uses the best brand, Boars Head. Onion Rings, ff with topings are good.
Food was hot and fresh, but just not that great. We felt it was overpriced for what it was. A homey feel and the outdoor seating... on the side of the road could be part of a family tradition for some but just not for us. Great atmosphere an awesome lunch. Highly recommend visiting when in the outer banks but keep in mind they do close at 3pm. We... lucked out and got there at 2:30. They have indoor and outdoor seating both very fun areas. I got the hot dog with kraut andspicy mustard. My kids enjoyed their kids meals on frisbees and both really liked the Mac and cheese. This is my favorite restaurant on the outer banks and a fantastic place for hot dogs. I come every time I'm here, at least once... but usually twice. They have great topping options; I think the Chicago is the best. Pro tip I didn't notice the first coupletimes I was here: you can get any style of hot dog as a footlong, and you're going to want to because they're so good. Read more
