Absolutely amazing and delicious! My mom surprised us with a small cake from Vivian's for our elopement that was hand delivered.... The cake was simple and beautiful with roses. Probably the best icing I've ever had. We also had an order of brownie's that wereto die for! I wish I could get some here in Texas! Kristin (owner) was great to work with for our wedding. She made us three very custom mini desserts (gluten free cobbler,... pistachio cupcake, tiramisu) as well as a mini wedding cake for the cutting ceremony. She put on a lovely tasting for thecouple and our parents which was included in the overall package. My only corrective feedback would be to plan ahead of timehow the bakery is going to get their trays/platters back. Read more

I emailed on a Sunday to see if I could have a small cake (for two) made for my 25th wedding anniversary which was on Wednesday.... I received a reply on Monday, even though the bakery is closed that day. I chose the spice cake with the cloud frosting andfilling. My email stated to make it simple with blue, purple, silver with hearts. I was very pleased with the results. Thecake and cloud frosting was outstanding. There were 4 layers of the delicious spice cake. The cloud frosting was very lightand a perfect combination. My husband loved it also and he is not the biggest fan of sweets or cakes. The picture of the halfeaten cake may look a little messy because we just ate it directly with our forks. Yum!! We ate the cake over a period ofthree days, enjoying it more each time. Read more
Vivian's Gourmet provided the supplies for us to host a "Cake Wars" party at home for my daughter's birthday. She provided the... cake and all of the supplies ready to go so that all I had to do was lay them out and let the girls start creating. It was asuper easy and affordable party. I could not have imagined a more beautiful or more delicious wedding cake. Everything was absolutely perfect. Kristin, her... husband and kids were delightful. I wish I had invited them to the wedding! I didn't have very many guests, as it was adestination wedding but the cake and pastries were GONE before we left for dinner. Visited 3 or 4 times for pastry & 1 time to order a cake for my wife's birthday. Everything has been delicious. The cake was a... dark chocolate with hazelnut filling and was so flavorful & rich & dark & dense that it was far beyond any cake I've ever had.One piece was satisfying for me and I'm usually kind of a glutton. The decorating was beautiful too. The owner is a very nicelady who sometimes has her husband helping her around the store. We LOVED our cupcakes for our wedding. We had a gluten free cupcake as well as a dairy free cupcake and the flavors were not... compromised at all! Everything was delicious and beautifully decorated. Our guests all complimented and went back for seconds!Our guests with dietary restrictions were also thrilled they were able to partake in the dessert without fear!
