Ambience is great? cozy and warm lights.. gets a good vibe, we were lucky to get a corner table. Apetizers are below... average(ordered chicken 65 and gobi 65), for main course we tried goat curry(no meat at all- all bones), chicken tikka masalaand paneer curry are good. Overall decent place for a non Indian Palate. You can try definetely for the ambience.. parking canbe done in the opposite bank during night times. Read more

Tulsi is one of the best Indian restaurants in the NH/Maine sea coast area. Consistently amazing food (especially their Paneer... Makhanwala and Bhindi Masala). Great vegetarian options, their drinks and appetizers are delicious too, and the service is quickand courteous. I?ve been to almost every Indian restaurant in the area and this is one of the best (if not the best) in my 5years of going here. Wish I could give 10 stars. Editing it to say that it?s still amazing after almost 10 years of going hereconsistently (once every 3-4 months). Read more

Fantastic meal hosted by amazing friends at Tulsi Restaurant. Was a new experience for me. I?ve always enjoyed different... cultural and ethnic foods but alway was reluctant to try Indian. Well I was wrong and I?ve missed out because this meal wasfantastic. Everything I tried was perfectly cooked and bursting with complex flavors. Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb and even Goat. Meatswere all tender. Nothing was over spiced nor too hot. The service was gracious and super friendly. Everyone got a huge kick outof India?s name. If you have ever considered giving Indian cuisine a try please try Tulsi. You can thank me later Read more

Went to Tulsi first time and the hospitality was disappointing. We entered the restaurant with an infant and stood at the... reception for so long with nobody attending / acknowledging our presence. The bartender along with few other staff members sawus standing at the reception but ignored and didn?t even acknowledge our presence. We were about to leave when a staff membercame and didn?t even show curtesy to apologize for a long wait. They are definitely short staffed and it?s not easy to manage (I totally understand) but that shouldn?t compromise how you treat your guests. I felt staff being ignorant (sad but true). Verydisappointed!! Food however was good. It is better than other average Indian restaurants in Maine, NH and Boston. Giving 2 starsfor the quality of food only. Hopefully they take this feedback in a constructive manner to immediately change the way theywelcome their guest! I don?t think I will go to this place again Read more

4 1/2 stars! The spinach pakora were the best part of the night. Our food was fabulous, but too many seated at the bar with only... 1 bartender. We were seated after the couple next to us and it was a bit awkward being tossed back and forth between theordering process. We ended up actually getting all of our food and left before them, which we felt a bit guilty about! We willbe back to try more!! Read more

Wow! I spent 5.5 years working overseas in AJK Pakistan. The Kashmiri lamb and the chapati/Naan brought back memories. The... Tulsi cider is dangerously addictive. Excellent and authentic. The service (Mercedes) was excellent and her recommendationswere on point. I will definitely be dining here as a repeat customer. Read more
