We have been to Kasha's Kitchen twice for the Polish dinner on Friday nights. The food is authentic and wonderful, the owner's... are so kind and hardworking and the atmosphere is cozy. When I first moved to Maine from a large Polish community in western MAI missed fresh homemade pierogies. Kasha's Kitchen has the best pierogies I've ever had. Thank you for filling a need in thecommunity. Read more

It's an okay spot if you're looking for basic American style breakfast. I gave it three stars because of the wait staff and... quality of food. It's a small business, so staff will be smaller. However, we were seated and then left at the table for almost20 minutes. There had been people seated after us already given menus and drinks. Portions of our order was forgotten after evenasking several times politely. I do not recommend ordering the hash browns. They're prefrozen and reheated in the oven, tastedlike school cafeteria style. I also noticed alot of their other items being carried to the kitchen were not fresh, bulk orderpremade food that you quickly heat up, not cooked fresh/scratch. The quality of food seemed hit or miss. One omelet tasted greatwhile the other one was extremely bland. Prices are a little high. I don't think I'd be a customer again. An extra server andmaybe change of menu items would be good for business. Read more
Don't miss this hidden gem while traveling Route 1 Kittery. Look for the Sunoco station. If you are handicapped, try to find a... space right at the door of Kasha's kitchen. There is a paved ramp from the parking lot to the entrance of the restaurant. You'llhave no trouble with handicap access. Also, their bathrooms are handicap accessible. All the food is made to order, so I'm sureyou'll be pleased with anything you get. I'm reticent to give these kitchen secrets less the establishment becomes so busy thatI have to wait outside, but I'll be kind. Whatever you order make it exquisite by getting a side of their superb hollandaisesauce. When the fried dough is available, order it for the table. You'll be the hero. When you're in Kittery and hungry forbreakfast or lunch make a stop at Kasha's kitchen. Read more
We were seated quickly and brought our coffee and water by a pleasant server who offered regular cream if we did not want the... packaged half and half on the table. The Classic Breakfast was $12. The eggs appear to be smallish judging by the size of theindividual fried ones and portion of scrambled eggs. But they were well cooked and enjoyable. The toast was one slice, not thecustomary two slices served everywhere else I have eaten, and it was served cold and dry. When I asked, I was told that theircustomers do not like the bread buttered. Packaged butter was provided on the table. The home fries were rather large potatochunks, well cooked with a nice browned exterior but very plain otherwise, with no seasoning of any kind or onions etc. Myfriend got bacon and was given two thick pieces. I chose sausage patty, and in every other place I have eaten you receive 2 ofthem. Here you got one and it was also extremely thin, about a quarter of an inch thick so at last half the usual thickness. Insummary while I did enjoy aspects of my breakfast, I do feel that there are some shortcomings here as stated, compared tocompetitors. Read more
