Reviews for The Bent Elbow in Kitchener, ON
The Bent Elbow is one of my favourite restaurants and is by far my favourite pub, no other place has the ambience, the perfect... music volume and the wonderful staff. Its a beautiful local restaurant with wonderful food, a seemingly infinite options todrink beer and delicious desserts. I will say however: If you want to come here to eat and drink, be prepared to spend a bitmore than other places, but the extra money is well spent because the quality, service and experience all match the price pointfor everything! Furthermore they also have tasters for all their on tap beers, so if youre not sure you spend less, get lessbut can still have a positive experience. Truly, my favourite place to wind down at. We visited this place on Saturday and it was a great experience. They have a binder full of beers from all over never seen such... a big collection of beer. The food most of which is made from scratch in the restaurant and the same shows in the taste. Thestaff is friendly and helpful with good recommendations. Read more

I happened upon this place by chance. Just passing through town. An incredible selection of European and North American craft... beers (read no Coors light), Jazz and proper Blues playing in the background. Delicious food with some dishes honouringmittleuropa, which match perfectly the selection of beers. Last but very important, the professional yet warm service. A greatexperience! Highly recommend. The Bent Elbow may be small but it has the biggest and best craft beer selection I've seen in KW. They carry a lot of Belgian... stuff and things you wont find at other restaurants/the LCBO. Staff was super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations aswell. If you like beer, you'll love The Bent Elbow. Read more
What can you say about The Bent Elbow? It's a community created by the owner, Harold. A fine gent who within minutes of walking... in the door, I felt welcome and warm. Harold has an ever-changing and expansive beer menu. And to pair these many fine brewswith, he makes things from scratch like his own Oktoberfest sausage and pastrami. He goes that extra mile because he believes inoffering something special. The bar itself is a welcoming spot and though I only went there twice, many people preferred to sitthere. I was in town for work and it was nearby. I went there two nights in a row and had excellent conversations with hisregulars. If you're used to more common domestic beers, you probably won't find them here, but Harold knows his stock well andwill be able to get you into something similar, and more than likely even better. If I lived nearby I'd be a regular myself.Places like this are rare. Don't hesitate to check this out this light in the dark. It's a hidden gem. Read more

Staff are awesome the times I have been to the Bent Elbow. Beer selection is impressive. Food price has crossed the value... line... $20 for 8 wings? Ya, they were good but... and the fries were also good by a modest serving for $9.00... sorry therating is not directly tied to the service or the food, but the value for the price paid. Walked away after a tip, because thestaff definitely deserve it, at $37 for 8 wings and the modest serving of fries. Read more
