I had heard good things about this place and finally checked it out today but I was vey disappointed. First of all the gentleman... running the front was friendly and professional - no issue there, the atmosphere was clean and actually looked like a retroPhilly sandwich shop, the hoagie and toppings were fresh and tasty, but here is the crucial issue, my Philly cheesesteak hadchopped up hamburger on it! A true Philly sandwich MUST have thinly sliced beef. The sandwich was good, but not worth $17! I?msorry but you cannot pass this as a Philly cheesesteak shop and use chopped up frozen (pre-made) hamburger on your sandwiches. Iwould HIGHLY recommend that the owner start using fresh and proper cut of beef for these sandwiches, also go with fresh cutfries, not frozen. This would make all the difference and my review would likely have been 5 stars. You can?t cut corners on themost important ingredients. Read more

I've been to Broad St and had a real Cheesesteak hoagie. This was pretty close. The frozen fries were way overpriced. But good... Hoagie. HERE'S THE INTERESTING PART. I watched the owner lose his cool on a customer (a young teenager) for no apparentreason. Then in an almost manic state, turned his mood in a 180 to serve me. It was like a Seinfeld episode. Then he was tryingto explain to me how to eat the hoagie. I had a very tough time comprehending what I was witnessing. Then I read the reviews. Ifyou want some entertainment, read the negative reviews. You'll see what I'm talking about. Read more

An excellent locally-owned business. Michael is a great guy and his passion comes through in how he interacts with customers and... cooks his food. He'll even give personalized recommendations based on what your getting and will get your input as well. Hugeportion sizes as well! Seriously, the sandwiches are massive so come with an appetite! Highly recommended. Read more

Great food. Don't waste $7 on fries. They're frozen and way overpriced. But the wraps are fantastic although there was no cheese... on our Philly Cheese wraps. Read more

I do not have enough good things to say about this place, the food, and more importantly the owner. This is the kindest man you... will ever meet. He cares so much and puts so much passion into each thing he makes. You can tell everything he does comes fromhis heart and soul. The food is absolutely amazing pretty crazy how hard it is to find a good caesar salad in kitchener but thesalad, the wraps, everything is just so spot on. I wish everyone would pay this place a visit! Prices are good too. Love thisman. Read more

Had to change the review due to miscommunication between myself to my partner interpreting the communication to the owner. I am... deaf, that's why. Food is mediocre at the best, good price and hot sandwich off grills. Way better than Subways. We enjoy itbut we wish the clear indication of what condoniments is being used in sandwiches but I now understood it takes some talking tothe cook and make right orders. Owner takes time to listen and respond even to the criticism in below. He is correct, I thoughtI don't want to be charged for remake and do not want to keep the original sandwich for son. Will try again and hopefully wewill have clear choice to order, my son did not take his time so this bad review is on me and I apologize. We will come backand try again, thank you Matthew. Read more
