I would have given a negative if there is an option for that. We went to try out the place as we received coupons in our mail.... The hot chocolate is the worst I had and I wouldn?t name it even as a hot chocolate. The person serving microwaved some milk andadded some sauce on top and we asked a refund for our money as this is not what we ordered, but she told she can?t. Would not recommend this location or ice cream. The soft serve ice cream had speckles of white grit throughout it, either from... improper cleaning or product that has been there a bit too long. The service was great and the dip on the cone delicious, butthe soft serve itself was down right disappointing. Not worth the cost. I ended up throwing out my treat after a few bites. Read more

(Kitchener location) Lots of choices for dips and toppings. But the ice cream seems off to me...seems a little gritty. Perhaps... not making it quite right, not sure. I tried the Stratford location and found the ice cream much better. Hopefully Kitchenercan revisit how they are making the ice cream. Read more

La Diperie is a great concept that unfortunately fails badly at the franchisee level at least at this location. The softserve... ice cream at this Doon Village eatery leaves an awful after taste and the texture is anything but creamy. Corporate HQ needs tovisit this franchisee asap and get the place in better shape. Regrettably, the Belgium milk chocolate dip was too thick and notsmooth, either. Came here to enjoy a salted caramel dipped cone. When I arrived and asked for a salted caramel dipped cone I was informed that I... can only have the salted caramel in a cup. The reason for the cup and not the cone was because the salted caramel was too thick.I agreed to a cup. The salted caramel topping was just okay tasting. The ice cream was gritty tasting. I was shocked to see myice cream was hollow down the middle. I certainly didn't get the amount of ice cream that I paid for. Overall my experience herewas disappointing. My family and I had a wonderful time at La Diperie today! The service was great ? the employees helping us were extremely kind... and patient as the kiddos took their sweet time deciding what to buy. The ice cream was also delicious, we all loved what weselected and enjoyed having such a wide variety of options to choose from. We sat in and were again pleased at the cleanlinessof the establishment. 10/10 experience and will definitely come again! Read more

Caution! DO NOT order online for pickup. Not fresh, not ready for pickup, and more $. If I had wanted over priced frosty old... freezer ice cream, I would have gone to the gas station store. I had looked at their website before setting out to see how theywere handling orders in light of covid restrictions. It shows online ordering available with Skip, Uber, Dash, and their ownsite. This location seems to use Uber. Would not recommend! Order complete time is not accurate and neither is the icecreamreceived. Uber Pickup "softserve" bowl is old frozen icey filled ice cream compressed hard into a bowl. Had to take home therock solid icecream to thaw out for a while, but toppings remained rock hard while icecream liquified. I can see how this may bea way to serve up delivery icecream, but should not be shown as a fresh peak of softserve covered in toppings if that's not whatyour serving. Also, not sure why option of icecream flavour (vanilla or chocolate) is given if it's not followed. Completelydidn't meet expectations from picture or $$. Very hesitant to try it again.
