I ate there once, was good. But today I parked there (in a non-reserved parking spot) and bought in another restaurant in the... same plaza. A couple of friends and I were eating in the parking when the owner went out yelling us we couldn't eat there,overreacting to the situation. We did say nothing and moved from there. Always drive by this chill spot on the way to job sites in the area when we are in Kitchener and had to try it today. Everything... was fantastic! Amazing selection, more than the average place for food AND drinks too! The jerk pork was maybe some of the bestpork I have ever had(of any kind)! The oxtail and curry goat was perfect. Good size servings and packed with flavour in everybite! A must try for anyone who loves food! The prices are a little bit higher than some of those other places but theportions, quality, flavor and friendly staff make it worth the money! They even have a dining room! This is by far the best Jamaican restaurant I've ever experienced in Kitchener. The food is absolutely delicious and cooked to... perfection. My husband and I found this place when I was pregnant and desperately looking for good Jamaican food. Tried this place for the first time today after trying ALL the "Jamaican" spots in Kitchener. I had no expectations as so far... all other locations disappointed me. However, from the moment I walked through the door I knew this was legit and the food wouldbe good. I met with the owner who is extremely friendly and welcoming and a true yardie. I told him of my experience sincemoving to Kitchener and he gave me samples of different dishes to try before I actually placed my order. I tried curry goat -deliscious, oxtail - deliscious and curry chicken - deliscious. With a 3/3 I felt confident to order a few dishes. I ordered 1/2oxtail, 1/2 jerk and their Friday fried chicken special along with other Jamaican goodies. The food was deliscious as Imentioned, perfectly seasoned and very flavourful. Made by REAL Jamaicans. I am so happy I finally found a spot that canactually cook real Jamaican food. It will not be my last visit even if it's on the other side of Kitchener from where I live.It's definitely worth the drive and I highly recommend it.
