Overall the food was good. The service was excellent. We had a reservation for 530 pm and were out of there at 720 pm. I felt... rushed. There were 4 of us celebrating my birthday. Our Wedding at Golf's was such a beautiful, perfect day! The Brunch Wedding idea was unique idea but our guests were so happy... with the experience - who doesn't love a great brunch? I chose Golf's after learning they were ranked as one of the top brunchplaces in our region and in the top 100 in Canada, they did not disappoint. Our wedding was only from 11:30-3:30pm, with a 1/2hour ceremony in the riverside tent, mingling for guest photos followed by our buffet brunch reception in the large ballroom. We were able to decorate the night before. We chose the full brunch buffet with top sirloin, roast chicken, ham, salad bar,waffle & pancake bar, bacon, eggs, veggie lasagna, roast potatoes and veggies & an awesome dessert buffet (cheesecakes, pies,cream pies, chocolate cake, carrot cake, parfait). Everything was delicious and we still keep hearing from our guests about howfantastic the food was. Some of our yet-to-be married guests have already said they want to do their own brunch wedding atGolf's. We had live and recorded music in both in the tent & ballroom and a microphone podium was available for speeches. Ourlocal photographer Julia Maier of Lens on Life loved the lighting & backdrops for photos inside & outside of the tent along thevine covered building and beside the willow tree by the river. I am so grateful to owners George & Gus for their patience andvery professional and efficient communication throughout the entire planning process. Since our wedding, we have heard frommany other couples who were married there and had similar success stories. I had a hard time finding pictures before our ownwedding to help visualize so I've included a lot for other brides-to-be. Golf's is definitely underrated as a wedding venue inour region. I went to Sunday brunch yesterday. It was first time this restaurant. Because, I saw it reviews then people are saying "it's... great". That's why, we went there. And it was right! I enjoyed a lot. Food was delicious and table was fantastic too. So, I wasenjoying Sunday afternoon yesterday. We had great time. Some people are saying "if you go to brunch you should make reservation"Yes, I will recommend too. Because, when I in there I told my name (because, I made reservation by online). Then, waiter said"you made it reservation. So, I will bring you guys nice seats" Meaning if I not make reservation then just normal table. But,depends on how busy too. From our table we can see it the river. And I love fish, potatoes (I don't know name is. But, it wasbaked potato) and pastry (Chocolatine, White chocolate cookies and Cream brulee) But, Mexican rice was dry. So, I think if theyhave cover then it's not dry that much. It's a shame. Prime Rib is always fantastic - noticed Salt was used heavily - most notable on the fries and in the soup. Salad bar always... fresh and enjoyable. Our waitress Victoria was having a rough night - first day of school was on her mind - hopefully she willfocus on the job instead. Plates got smaller to make portions look bigger. Everything felt fancy (server Mario was great), everything we ordered was delicious, especially the calamari, the prime rib was... exquisite, all the way down to the fantastic garlic bread!
