Oof what a miss. Meatball sub was the special today (Wednesday) at about $10. Cold grey looking meatballs. Weak amount of sauce... and barely toasted. Only reason it?s not 1 star is because after I took the sub home, I pan fried the meatballs and added extrasauce. Was actually decent then. Read more
Came a few times and tried two different sandwiches. Both were very fresh and had plenty of toppings on them. Employee working... was very friendly, giving great recommendations and suggestions on what to try. Prices are reasonable and they have some prettygood specials. Will go back again! Read more

New location! Not sure if new owners or not but the new spot is clean, cute and cozy. Just down the street from their older... location, so I am very happy to have found it again. I thought it closed down. Everything was as it should be. Big John's subsauce was still as delicious as ever. We took them home and toasted them in the air fryer. Yum! Our only regret was not gettinganother sammy. If you like sandwiches, you need to try a big John's. Every unique sub they make is delicious. I just add thesauce to anything I order. I have been disappointed in Big John?s for years. I let my husband talk me into it today. I got pita Caesar. Well to start with... it was Nan bread not pita. They put simulated chicken chunks, lettuce, mozzarella cheese slice and a ton of mayonnaise. Someoneneeds to teach them on what a chicken Caesar pita is. Start with pita stuffed with romaine lettuce, chicken chunks, bacon bits,croutons, parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. I did not want a taco that had zero flavour other than mayonnaise. I will nevermake the mistake again and order from there. I removed all the toppings and ate the bread. Very expensive Nan bread. Read more

My dad started coming here in the 1970s and it's been a staple in our family as long as I've been alive. Such great subs and a... great local small business to support. My usual order is a cold assorted, chef's kiss. Never had a better sub. Read more

What an awesome place! Their sandwiches are well stacked and the amount of meat is definitely worth your money! Close to St.... Johns Ambulance, so if you're taking a course you should come to this location. Read more

The good: It's a big sub Great quality lunch meat, cheese and bread Generous amount of meat Good... service The not so good: Raspberry vinaigrette it comes with doesn't mesh well with the other flavors in this sub Dressing madethe sub soggy It's expensive at almost $16 for a large Lessons for next time: trust your instincts. Ask to customize your subso it's made the way you know you'd like it. In my case, lose the raspberry sauce and use Italian dressing or sub sauce. Read more
