In town from GA for a 16 basketball tournament. Had a total of five families so we called ahead to make sure they could... accommodate us. We were able to be seated right away on a Saturday night. The staff was fantastic! Took our drink orders as wewalked through the door and had our drinks at our table in a matter of minutes. Our server was great, awesome customer service!I had the sliced pork platter that came with 3 sides and Texas toast. The pork was thinly sliced and very good. I am from TN andlive in GA and this is the way I prefer my BBQ but it is hard to find it prepared this way except for in the East TN and NCareas. It had a nice Smokey taste, that was not over powering. The BBQ beans were some of the best I have had in a long time!The macaroni was tasty too. I sampled some of my wife?s fried okra and onion rings. The breading in the okra was a little mushybut it had good flavor. The onion rings were top notch! All in all a great experience for my family and a nice find with somereally good food. Can?t say enough about the customer service here, everyone pitched in to help with our large party and allwere very friendly. Even the older gentleman that bussed our table helped our youngest find the lollipop that he misplaced andleft on a table when we got up to leave. Another worked never even said a word when she started to clean the table and the saltand pepper shakers made a mess when she picked them up because a couple of the 16 year old basketball players evidently werepranking. It's not the Lake Wales location, but the wait staff is nice and the eating area is updated. If you want better wings from the... Fat Boy locations, travel the extra 45mins to Lake Wales. Read more
I look for great food places, and I found this one. Really friendly wait staff. Fast service. Very, very good foods. I got... the deluxe combo dinner with three sides. 3 ribs, 2 pieces of tasty BBQ chicken , beef and pork slices all smoked and notshredded. Tea, two slices of toast. All this Ina major tourist area for under 20.00. It was also not crowded on a Saturdaynight. I highly recommend. Read more

Like stepping back in time. This place is just like I remember growing up in Kissimmee. The baked beans are still my favorite... just add a little signature sweet sauce and mmm. Sweet tea is what the name says along with all the old picts of Kissimmee'swho's who in the 80's. Thanks for staying the same, serving up great food, and bringing back some memories! Read more
Only got a 1 star because the service from the take out window was good. Other than that nothing! Food was gross, the wings had... features on them still, they had no flavor and smelled very fresh! The bar-b-q was very dry and tasted nothing like bar-b-q. Iwas very disappointed in the food! Read more
My birthday was the 18th, and my husband took me out of town for the weekend. He knows that I love bbq, so he took me somewhere... I've never been- Fat Boy's BBQ. We stopped in for lunch on the way to the west coast. Parking lot full, good sign. This is an older property, but we were... greeted promptly, seated right away. They looked a little short staffed, but our server came right away, and took our order. Ourfood came right out, was hot and delicious. No complaints, great lunch. Read more
