It was our first time here and we did not know what to expect. Great atmosphere and menu selection. There were very long breaks... between when the server checked on us, which led to empty drinks several times. The one complaint everyone at our table had wasthat the food was very salty. Visited this restaurant on the 15th August, did not look busy, was greeted by a woman who obviously was not happy, only said how... many and got menus and walked off, then came back and only said this way and pointed to a table. The girl server was polite andprofessional, BUT when the meal arrived, the fries was cold and some of the order was missing or wrong. When this was brought tothe attention of the server,she apologised and ordered fresh but by the time it arrived we had eaten half the meal.it is basicattention to detail, should have been better checked what's coming out of the kitchen is correct. What a great dining experience. The staff was nice, cleanly dressed, not looking stressed. Our orders were simple to order and... graciously delicious. ???? The bread was fantastic. We had the spinach artichok, perfect balance. My Fiancé had chicken and Ihad the steak. Well done. Everything, from our server to our food, was great. This was the worst restaurant experience in my entire life! It is impossible to fail anymore than this Kissimmee, Florida... Cheddar's. On our last night of our vacation on Saturday May 28th, we decided to try Cheddar's for the first time. I heardfrom a friend this restaurant chain was good, so we decided to try it. At 7:44pm we joined the wait-list with my phone number. At 8:43pm we entered the restaurant, sat down, and ordered shortly afterwards. Our server brought the drinks (2 waters and 1soda) and two small side salads right away. My friend and my wife ate the side salads. My friend drank his soda while wewaited for our food. Over an hour went by. The server never returned during this period of time to do anything. My friendssoda was long gone and he was wondering when he might be able to get a refill. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes, the serverfinally emerges. The server approached the table and asked if we were ready for our check... It was hard to hold back laughingat this question as we literally just wasted two hours between waiting to get in and waiting for our food. I told the server wehave been waiting for over an hour now and we don't even have our food yet. The server disappeared, and returned in about 5-10minutes with 3/4 of the food we ordered, excluding my friends dish. I felt the food, it was not warm at all. The food lookedlike it was sitting around for a long time, most likely forgotten about in the kitchen. My wife's steak looked really bad. Itold the server our food was not warm and I was not happy about waiting such a long time for this. The server said he would goget the manager. My friend's dish arrived, completing the whole order. The whole meal was trash. The chips got an A+ and so did our drink's. We barely ate our meals. Paid and left to grab some fast... food. I'll never return to this location. Service sucked, food sucked even more as did the service. It was like pulling teethfor a busser to clean up our cups. But let's blame it on covid one employee said. Since they can't get good help. Food was really good except the burger. It was cooked medium and was very dry! I waited 35 minutes for a table and the place... was almost empty. While we sat at our table you see employees just walking around not doing much and a lobby full of people. Thewaitress serving our table only had maybe 3 tables. That was a joke! Service was great, menu has lots of options from healthy to splurging! We enjoyed a steak which was perfectly grilled. The sides... are fun, and we recommend the broccoli and cheese casserole. Your visit begins with honey buttered croissants, and you can orderadditional if you would like. The first ones are complimentary. Great selection of apps, sandwiches, salads, burgers, andentrees...steak, chicken, salmon, and pasta. Save room for dessert! Chocolate fudge sundae cake is awesome, but is definitelyfor 3 or 4 people to share. They have table kiosk to order additional items and to pay. We had no problem finding parking.
