I've been here many times and the food has always had issues. Main issue was my bacon or sausage almost every time I've been... here was barely warm along with puddles of grease in my hash browns. I always asked for crispy bacon and sausage and tell themno rush. I'd rather wait a bit longer and eat food fresh food. Still had semi cold links and bacon. I cooked breakfast at asteak house for almost 4 years so I know old reheated bacon and sausage when I taste it. I honestly felt bad for the waitressesand waiters for having to serve the last time I was there. I watched numerous orders go back. My wife thinks it's decent and Ilike to support small businesses so I'll give it one more try. If it's bad again, I'll never go back. If it's good, I'll changemy review. Read more
Most recent visit was on September 10 @4:15 p.m, to say the least it was very unpleasant. We were taken to one area of the... restaurant, we asked to be seated elsewhere. The young blonde waitress/hostess said "ok, your waitress will be with you when shehas time" and tossed the menus to us. Twenty minutes later, two waitresses just walked by and then looked at us. When thewaitress finally showed up (just to get a drink order) she wasn't friendly at all. This has been the second time dealing withher, once on another occasion. Once she arrived to take our order, it wasn't available (yes, this happens), but her attitude wasthe final straw. We've been there several times in the past and had great service and food. I don't know what has changed, butthe staff, especially this waitress, needs to learn to be more courteous. I know this place is looking for help, but if they arethis desperate to hire this kind of employee....then this place will no longer be the popular diner in town to go to. Wow that's awesome! I had blue berries on the brain all right. When I got up I was still thinking about them. No blue berries,... but the butter milk pancakes were so good no need for the berries. I had the hackstack.... taters with 2 slice's crumpled baconon top, with white gravy on top with 2eggs any style on top, and topped with cheese... NEED I SAY MORE?? And I had 3 cups ofcoffee!! I Left with a doggie bag - for me and pecan pie for dinner tonight!! That's why I said WOW --- I tipped 33 percent andI spent less than $25. Read more
