Went for happy hour with coworkers. Drinks and bites were tasty, but the food seems a bit overpriced for the portions (such as... hummus), and slightly bland (tuna app). I went to eat here on Friday and today. The service is great. But the food needs help. Not very tasty at all. I was with my... boyfriend Friday and he said he wouldn\'t come back (except to try the banana bread pudding). Then tonight my girlfriend saidthe food wasn\'t really good. But we did order the banana bread pudding tonight and that was very very good. I would come backfor that. For some reason there were constant fruit flies flying all around us. I killed 2 of them! I know this place onlyopened up 2 months ago. So I\'ll give them another chance. But honestly the food needs a little help. Read more
Great location, great atmosphere, great staff. You can tell they genuinely want you to enjoy your time here.\n\nThe food is... stellar. I tried the mussels/sausage along with the burrata/avocado for starters and they were both lovely. I could have beenhappy just eating appetizers to be honest. The steak was perfectly done. Salad was fresh. Pasta was buttery and flavorful andperfect.\n\nThe Juanita Rita was a hit if you are looking for a nice drink, but it’s got a kick so be prepared! Came across sparrow on Instagram and I have to say it’s definitely worth a visit. The vibes are amazing, clean, vibey, and... super chill. Very cool spot to go out on a date. The service was exceptional with the servers coming in to check on you multipletimes. In terms of the food it was good but not great. The Avocado Burrata was good but lacked some seasoning, Mac and cheesewas delicious and the steak was overall pretty good. I have to say I was really disappointed by the mashed potatoes and the factthat I still had tendon left on my steak. We capped off our night with a delicious dessert which I highly recommend. OverallI’d give this place a 4.5/5 and would come again. Read more
SO GRATEFUL that Sparrow exists. This is our go to spot now without question for a date dinner or just a weekday dinner when we... don\'t feel like cooking. We\'ve been three times since they\'ve opened and got different things each time. Everything has beenfantastic. The cocktails are also thoughtful and really good, fairly priced as well. The outdoor space is ample and isn\'t infull sun in the evening which is nice. The only minor point of criticism (and I feel old saying this) is that the music can beweirdly loud in the bar area. I love the music but sometimes it is just a little loud. :P Read more
A friend suggested this place. They just opened one month ago. We ordered seafood chowder, burratta avocado, pasta, truffle... fries, pimm’s cup, Juanita Rita, lemonade strawberry, banana bread pudding, India ink wine. Delicious food and great drinks.Loves the music and their decor. Definitely will come back again! Read more
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant Sparrow in Kirkland .The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about... your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we hadwhile in carbonara pasta , steak, and the best special drinks! Highly recommend!?? A solid 4.4 stars at this newish place off the beaten track.\nThe Lamb Quesa-Barria (!) lamb tacos were good, but the sauce... lacked taste.\nThe spaghetti carbonara was truly excellent, but I had to hunt for those tiny zucchini shavings. Morezucchini!\n\nThe halibut was top class too, very small portion but tamato and spinach topping deliciously different.\n\nThebanana bread pudding was a tad on the dry end, but the large scoop of vanilla gelato on top saved the day.
