Had dinner here on Wednesday. Felt the meat was not fresh but didn?t pay too much attention on it, since the waitresses are... nice and the food seems fancy. Had acute gastroenteritis 3 hours later and vomited twice until nothing to vomit out until 12:00AM. Eat nothing but bland foods last two days. Though I like the place, I suggest the manager to be careful about the foodsafety and don?t use the spoiled meat, please. Spent $100+ for two person, two combo. Read more

No disappointment here. One of the best neighborhood Japanese restaurants. Excellent foods. Very impressed with the sunomono,... and shioyaki saba. Tonkatsu and sashimi were good too. Service was not bad but not exceptional either. Only complaint, if Imust, maybe the price. Read more

Great food and service dining in. Do NOT order takeout, got the same number of pieces in photos sashimi in person vs takeout... nigiri. Takeout had super off color fish and was NOT fresh (just compare the tuna colors). We got takeout because our son wasjust born in the hospital and we wanted to celebrate given my wife can eat raw fish again. Super disappointed. Not sure if Iwant to come back anymore. Read more

I arrived at 7:45, lady told me they close at 8pm. I showed her the website that states 8:30. She gave me a hard time but sat me... and my son down. When I ordered food she said it was too much, I told her that it was what I wanted. They don't use any creamcheese in their sushi wasn't even that good and after that type of service I will not be returning. Read more

This Japanese restaurant is one of the best i have ever tried. The customer service was incredibly amazing. The food was... delivered perfectly, Apitzerrs then our main dish and then desert. I am removing 2 stars away because the old lady rush to givethe bill out and as a fine dining that doesn't seem to be acceptable at all.the reciept was over 150$ for 2 people But the foodwas pretty good and I am sushi lover and I can definitely recommend this location. But the bill and the way they try to rushcustomers out are disrespectful. Read more

Izumi is the place for authentic Japanese food! Their place gets full as soon as they open so arrive on time or a little... after. Their staff is very friendly. Their food is delicious, fish is always fresh. Read more

Probably the best sushi in Kirkland. One of the chefs at Sushi Kashiba recommended it to me and I'm not disappointed!! Try their... matcha icecream too. Just be careful, if yiu go there for dinner, be prepared to wait for about an hour to be seated. Read more

I would never come again. Before my visit, I had high expectation to Izumi, as I worked in Japan and I missed izakaya a lot.... When I heard Izumi is run by Japanese and read so many good comments, I thought it?s the right place to go, but the experiencewas VERY unhappy. We waited at the table for at least 5 minutes without anyone taking care of us(though the staff walked around, they seemed so busy to stop by for a second and even avoided our eye contact). Asahi is product of Italy (so why I spent $13dollars if I could get much cheaper one from grocery?) The bendo box looked completely not worth for $40, the quality was notgood and very small amount. I missed tako wasa a lot (very simple appetizer in Japanese izakaya), but izumi don?t have it andthis tako was kind of ridiculous. Spicy tuna rolls are sooooo tiny and I don?t understand why they use nori, which completelycovered tuna?s taste. Very disappointing and definitely not worth money. Will never go again and will never recommend to myfriends Read more
