Good food at a reasonable price. Went for a date night with the husband for the first time and enjoyed the atmosphere as well.... The reason why I took off a star is because when I went another time with a girlfriend and I arrived before she did a staffmember, which I think was newer, was quite rude. Once I arrived I asked to be seated but since my girlfriend wasn?t their yetthey wouldn?t seat me which I thought was very bizarre. I have never had that happen before, and my girl friend was only fiveminutes away? so I stood around waiting, keep in mind out of the way of everyone, and this staff member who was rude before toldme to either go wait by the street or sit in my car!!!!! What?! I was so took aback so I just went to my car and waited. Ipersonally would have left because of that experience but since I was meeting with someone I stayed. Read more
Super cute aesthetic, modern but still cozy and homey feeling. Absolutely delicious brunch, everything was perfect. Super... friendly and helpful staff. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender and the gravy with it was so delicious. You can orderthrough a QR code or from a server if you have other requests. Read more
This is our first time at Deru. We wanted to try a new breakfast place in Kirkland and came across Deru. We had the lattes, eggs... and vegetables, and French toast. The environment is nice and welcoming and the eating experience is self-service where you scana QR code to look through the menu and then order and pay online (the food is on the pricey side). While the food is okay forus, the coffees were amazing! We did not try the cakes. If you are a health conscious eater with a high preference for organicfood and a comforting experience, this is the place for you. Great restaurant altogether! The food was amazing and tasted very fresh. The service was excellent. Very welcoming and... friendly. Their cakes were out of this world!! Very fresh and gourmet style food in a clean and chic setting with friendly and welcoming servers. Many vegetarian... options! Food: 4/5 The farm salad was very fresh and had a nice oil based tangy dressing. The tomato soup was also thick and abit creamy - perfect balance for a cold day. Sweet potato and hummus was also yum - the sweet potato was crispy and perfectlycooked and the hummus was also smooth and nicely flavored. Garlic bread was yum - perfectly balanced soft and crisp with a goodbasil/oil dressing. Pizzas were again light and fluffy and fresh - perfectly thin and appetizing. Coffees are great too! (Why a4 and not 5? - just because they are good enough to keep coming back but did not bowl me over.) Servers: 5/5 Nice and friendlyservers. Ambiance: 5/5 Very clean and minimalist ambiance.
