I did a drain cleaning job for this restaurant and their manager (Michelle) offered me free lunch as a thank you! It was very... nice of them. The food was fresh and tasty, and the kitchen was clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you like tastyChinese food! Read more
We have ordered from here a few times in the past also, considering lack of good vegan options around this area in general.... Decent food, although I dislike the throwaway plastic packaging. But today we were particularly disappointed that we got an eggfried rice in spite of stressing on the vegan order more than once. I really hate to throw away food, so I am now eating withdifficulty in spite of my philosophical stand against it (I don’t think I have eaten egg in the past 30 years almost, and Ican also see that I don’t even appreciate the taste of egg anymore). Anyways, there is always an element of risk for veganswhile ordering from a non-vegan place. So I am just sharing a caution about this place from my today’s experience. Read more
TLDR: made to order. Located on the bottom floor of the Totem Lake Hotel. Nice cozy restaurant cafe that's well lit and has... Chinese music playing softly in the background. Connected with what seems to be a tea shop. All food is made to order so expecta wait. This isn't a fast food joint. Service: wait to be seated, you will be given a pitcher and water cups, order at thetable, check brought to you, box your own leftovers. Dried Tofu with Pork: my favorite dish. The tofu isn't "dried" it's justless spongy and more dense--slight chewy texture, which I really like. I wish the proportion was slightly larger though. Read more
Great food, came to the table very hot and fresh. The cup of soup is a full meal. Loved the fried tofu.
