Update: one of my favorite places. Reasonable, fresh, speedy. We like to broil our pizza for a few mins after we get home. So... good! Highly recommend Joey's! First time trying their "works" pizza and first time ordering. THE BEST PIZZA. Tasty not overlysaucy, just the right amount of everything. Nice people and cute little dining area. Clean. Twice I have gotten soggy Italian beef, the apps taste like they're microwaved and the one time I ordered ahead I still waited.... I would ONLY recommend the pizza. Nothing else. Read more
Deep dish, sausage, onion, pepper & mushroom! Was absolutely delicious. They even catered to my request of smaller sausage... balls. After it was all said & done, they called back to see how we enjoyed the pie! They make their sausage & sauce fromscratch! Definitely recommend! Worth the drive ! Read more
I've been here a few times now, this being the third or fourth. Every time I've gone the food has been fantastic, I've gone as... far as to recommend this place over other places in the area. This most recent time I went it was all kids working and my entireorder was microwaved to completion apart from my pizza. Terrible that none of the children care to uphold the respect theirparents and grandparents have built with the community. Please keep an adult on staff to ensure the same quality is upheldthroughout the day. Read more
Not as food as I was expecting.. The sausage was weird. It had an uncomfortable sweetness to it. The pizza sauce was bland. None... of the spices or flavors I was hoping for was in the sauce. The crust wasn't anything to special. It wasn't greasy or oily whichI was the only plus side. All the vegetables that were in the pizza didn't seem frozen or canned. I had high hopes for thispizza. I was really hoping a throwback pie from my days in Genoa... Didn't get it here. And I'll probably never have a pizzalike that again. We miss ya Nick........ Anyway.
