There's several locations in the area and this location is one of the best. Tried several items from their menu but the fried... chicken is my favorite for sure. With a side of okra. The outside of the chicken is nice and crispy with the inside remainingjuicy. Don't let me forget to also tell you about their amazing iced tea! 9/18/22.. The female manager was awesome and encouraging yet correcting the employees, however the food was not so satisfying. ... The potatoes salad was sweet and over wrought with mayo. The sandwiches and fries were not hot. The chicken though seasoned wasover battered very crunchy. They were more wing ding looking pieces. The staff was very playful and more concerned with carrying on with their friends. We came in just before the church crowd and I... was kind of surprised to see the staff continue on with their banter even with such a crowd. Our food came out quickly butagain the staff was hanging over the counter talking to friends, so we were unable to get straws for our drinks. The girl whobrought our food out was turned halfway around continuing to look at other people while setting our food down, she almostspilled the whole tray. The food did come out quick and most of it was hot, our fries were cold. Wish this had been a bettertrip to this place, we have been to many other locations and are always pleased with how kind the staff is and how hard theywork. A great experience at Smithfield's. The chicken was very hot and fresh, as were the hush puppies. Coleslaw was good too. I love...
