I ordered food from Texas True BBQ because I wanted to feed my Family. So, I ordered the Party of 6 Family meal along with a... Baked Potato and Donut Bread Pudding. When my food arrived to my home and I opened the bag to my surprise all that was there wasa Baked potato and Banana Pudding. Where was the rest of my order? After contracting the delivery company I found out that myorder was changed because the Meal Combo I purchased was out of stock. If I had known that the food I chose was not available Iwould have chosen something else or cancelled my order. Instead I was left with a Baked Potato and Donut Bread Pudding to feed afamily of 5. Thanks Texas True BBQ for your professionalism and Great Customer Service. Update: After Speaking with CustomerService and a Mgr. from the restaurant I was informed that one of the items I purchased was discontinued and replaced withsomething different. By doing so it cancelled that part of my order. They attempted to contacted the delivery service who I wentthrough to purchase my food and was put on hold.. I can understand if a... batch of chicken, turkey, pork or beef was bad, it happens, but everything bad means something is very, very wrong. One of my personal favorite BBQ spots! Thr atmosphere just screams Texas, their drink selection is OK, their sandwiches is... god-tier, their Mac n cheese is not that good, their cobbler is amazing, and they have the best bread! Overall in my top 3 andmy third favorite BBQ spot. Read more
Surprisingly good BBQ for a grocery store restaurant. Definitely overpriced, and some of the leaner meat is pretty dry. The menu... is confusing, and the kids options aren't very good. But, all things considered, it's a good meal in a convenient location. Read more

*This is a biased review and only pertains to the banana pudding* First of all this review is coming from a person that likes... the banana pudding shake from Whataburger, so take that however you like. ? There is almost a need to pause after every fewbites to allow for a resetting of the pallet, otherwise the pallet gets too used certain flavors and the whole of the bananapudding can't be truly appreciated ? Perhaps a light touch of amaretto is used ? The consistency of the pudding is full andstable, yet creamy -- not loose, nor thick. ? The flavor is light (almost bright) but balanced with a pleasant savory, almostumami-like taste that is usually all too understated in most other banana puddings. Long story short, if you like bananapudding and haven't tried this place, you are doing yourself a disservice. PS. This place does pretty darned good BBQ, but I'llbe coming back mostly for the desserts (the cobblers here are awesome too). Read more
