First time at this location for lunch. Let's talk about the Ramen!!! They had some great options but I went with the Miya... Special Ramen. The Special has a little of everything. It had so much flavor and the display of the bowl was very nice. The waymy food looks before I eat it... so important to me. Read more

I?m honest with my opinion and will give credit when the credit is due. I?m not hating on this restaurant, but when you?re... highly-rated on Google, you really can?t help but expect highly. I should?ve lowered my expectations or read the comments ofthose who gave this restaurant fewer than 3 stars. Anyhow, I?m giving this restaurant 4 stars because of their service, but 2when it comes to the quality of food they serve. Service 4/5: when we went there, we saw a bunch of young ones taking over theservices part of the restaurant. It?s probably a summer job, but I really like seeing the young ones learning how to work andgiving importance of hard work and the value of money. When we were there, one of kids messed up the orders and theowner/manager was kind enough to fix the problem. It gave me the impression that she?s a good boss/leader. Kudos to that. Food2/5: you go to a restaurant to eat and to enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver. I felt and tasted like the Katsuwas straight from the freezer. It was dry and didn?t taste like Katsu at all. We ordered Spicy Misu and the Korean seafood forour ramen. Both didn?t taste like ramen at all. The broth tasted like water with a pinch of salt in my opinion, and they justadded ingredients to make it like a ?ramen?, but it failed miserably. Instant ramen from a grocery store tasted better in myopinion. I have been to Japan and had ramen there, and this by far, the worst ramen I have had in my life (no offense meant, just my opinion). The saving grace for me was the Takoyaki. It was well presented and I thought it was delicious. I only had afew items in their menu, but I felt like there are far more better Ramen/Japanese restaurants in the area than this, but ifconvenience matters to you, and my opinion don?t, then you should give this restaurant a chance like we did and decide foryourself whether to come back or not. PS: I would like to apologize if I offended anyone by my comment (no intentions t Read more

Great authentic ramen at an affordable price. Our son loved it, and he is a picky eater. He had the Tonkutsu Ramen and I had... the Korean Seafood Ramen. The Tonkutsu was very savory and had the characteristics of that type of broth. The seafood was freshand complimented the broth of the Korean Seafood Ramen. Overall, a great dining experience and one of our new favorites! Read more

Overall a pleasant experience here. All of our food was cooked appropriately and arrived hot and fresh. The main reason I can't... give five stars is due to an issue with service. We ordered appetizers first, and had our server go put that in well before weordered our entrees. Yet when the food started arriving, we had our table covered in plates and bowls within five minutes.Everything came out back to back with hardly any time to enjoy one without worrying whether it would get cold on us. Tempuraveggies were very heavily battered. It was almost like a pancake with a sliver of veg inside. No crispiness to be found. Similartexture to corndog coating. By contrast, the pork katsu was amazingly crunchy and flavorful. The only complaint there is thatthe katsu sauce was served on the side, cold. It did not go well Iike that for me. First time experiencing that dish done thatway. Fried rice and stir fried veggies on the side were both well seasoned and great! Miso soup and house salad alsogreat! Definitely give this place a chance if you're in the area. Read more

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The first time, it was a pleasant experience trying the Ramen and my son loved... the Japanese soda. However, the second time, I went with a larger group and it was near closing time. However, we made sure withthe staff if they were still able to accommodate us. They were willing, but they rushed us to order and everyone else workingthat night besides our waitress, was just sitting around staring at us to finish eating so they could leave. I know we werethere late, but they agreed to have us and it just ended up being a very uncomfortable experience for everyone. Read more

First visit. Daughter (11) had the kid's tempura vegetables and steamed rice, I had the spicy chicken miso ramen, we shared the... spring rolls. (menu items K3, R3, & A3 respectively) She loved the veggies and rice. The ramen was delicious. Spicy enough tonotice, but so spicy too overwhelm the flavors. If you want a challenging spicy dish, this isn't it. The spring rolls were verygood. The hot jasmine tea was served in a very nice tea cup (that had been heated prior to serving) and wasn'tover-steeped. Very friendly staff. Miya is going to be on our regular rotation, for sure.
