The food was ok. It took 30-40 minutes for the waiter to take our order. Then he never came back for drink refills. I went again... last night & the service was better. Had the Ahi Tuna salad. Frozen house margarita was good. Read more

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a few months and today, we finally had a chance to. As soon as we... walked in, the hostess was more interested in making a sign than seating us. We were seated by our server. She was okay, nothingspectacular or friendly about her, just basic service and attentiveness. The queso was completely overpriced and had too manyveggies in it to call it a queso. My kids didn't eat it. We ordered a kid's pizza and it wasn't fully heated through, it lookedlike it could've used more time in the oven. My husband and I both ordered the carne guisada and it was flavorful but the beefwas not as tender as I expected of a carne guisada. One of my kiddos got chicken tenders and fries and both were good and largeenough portion that they all ate fries and chicken tenders. Overall, it was overpriced. Most of the plates were $18 and over. Iwas unimpressed. Read more

The drinks were decent during happy hour. The food was not what my family and I expected for the price they are charging. I... ordered a large queso and then quickly realized that it was overpriced. I changed it to a small size, but it was just not anygood and too top it still cost an outrageous price. The food was no better, I guess the point I?m trying to bring is that theprice for the quality you are getting is not worth it. FYI there is other Mexican restaurants down the street that have bettercuisines and authentic. Read more

El Tiempo is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Houston! Their crispy carnitas and brisket tacos are amazing and their... house margaritas are yummy and potent. Portions are big so my boyfriend and I usually split a dinner. I am a little picky andthey are always happy to meet my special requests. The service in Kingwood is great. The atmosphere is fun. I highly recommendEl Tiempo. Read more

Pina colada was good and strong. My chicken flauta had a very strange taste - I took two bites and couldn?t eat it. The cheese... dip was amazing. My husband enjoyed the brisket burrito. Read more

Real tex-mex! Cheese enchilada and fajitas were delicious. Even had fried ice cream.

I?m not sure why this location has such a low average amount of stars. The food is amazing, the vibe of the restaurant is... perfect, and everyone was very friendly just like all of their others locations. If people are giving bad reviews because theycharged them for packaging on a to go order, I do not feel like that is a valid reason to give a low rating. If you have been totheir other locations inside of Houston, don?t worry - it?s just as great!!! Read more
