Food is awesome, bread tastes homemade even though it's not. Staff are always friendly, cafe is always calm and not overly loud.... I'd recommend going later in the afternoon/early evening. Read more
I like chicken salad. I get the scoop with celery sticks instead of crackers. I like the southern style the best , haven't had... a bad variety... Husband prefers jalapeno chick. But I am addicted to the broccoli salad. I'd like to try the others but thisone is just soooooo tasty. Unsweet tea is smooth and satisfying . Staff is always personable and efficient. Price is rightfor a side and scoop with crackers or celery sticks ( or andwich) and a small cookie $9. Add a drink $2 more. 2 people can eatfor under :$24. I?ve been on a chicken salad sandwich kick lately and THIS place offers lots of ?research? opportunities. ???? So many... variations on this creamy sammy. Time to start checking them off the list and you always start with the classic. The ClassicCarol was pretty tasty! A definite good base if you want to take some to go (since they offer this, as well) and build on it athome. At first bite, you get a sultry, buttery flavor from the airy croissant and then you find a good balance of creaminess tochicken ratio. For me, though, a touch bit more of salt????and pepper were needed and then it disappeared. The grape salad was?interesting. An odd pairing of cream cheese and red and green grapes ???? topped with brown sugar and crushed pecans. Afterevery bite I just kept saying to myself: ?this is interesting?, ?????hmm, interesting?, but then I found myself licking thebowl, so it must?ve been good.???? The mini cookie was a nice surprise. I have tried this place twice and both times I was pleased. The first time I got the potato soup and the 2nd time I got broccoli... cheese soup. The salad I get is the sassy scotty (contains shredded cheddar and bacon). The first time I got it on a BLT(pictured in the picture with the pickle) , but felt it was too overwhelming as the sandwich and salad both contained bacon. I was totally WOW-ED by Chicken Salad Chick .. I mean how good or different a chicken salad sandwich be? .. Well, mine was... amazing!! .. my wife's sandwich was even better!
